This file will need to be re-applied if/when official patches/updates are released to ensure full compatibility. This is due to the fact that some files which are removed when installing this file are automatically re-installed by Steam when official patches come out.
Some of these changes, ESPECIALLY THE CLUB NAMES, may not apply in the Beta, FM Touch or in existing save-games. There's a workaround for that in the first post.
The sortitoutsi real names fix changes the instances of fake names in Football Manager 2019 to the proper, real life names for awards, cities, stadiums and competitions, in cases where the actual name is not licensed, such as Champions League, Europa League and Premier League displaying instead of EURO Cup, EURO Vase and Premier Division respectively. It will also fix the fact that the Japanese National teams don't call up real players and that the Bayern manager has a fake name. These are all fully save-game compatible.
There is also a club name changes file, which changes the names of clubs in a way which ensures that any nicknames entered in the default database are retained. This file includes the proper names for Brazilian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French clubs to circumvent licensing restrictions. It also adds real-life media and journalists, encompassing most major footballing nations and continents. Brazilian clubs' text colours are also changed through an editor data file. Finally, it includes a small file which corrects the 3-Letter competition names to correspond with any changes made in the lnc files. For all the files in this paragraph to work, however, you will need to start a new game.

COPY the dbc, edt and Inc folders from the downloaded pack
STEP 3:
PASTE them into each of your respective folders mentioned in step 1.
These are what the respective folder structures should look like in the 1910 folders:

COPY the 7 files located in the EDITOR DATA FILES folder in the downloaded pack

This should be what your editor data folder looks like now. There may initially be a config.xml file in this folder and it can be safely overwritten; it is generated by FM every time the game starts.
To make sure the files have been applied correctly, go to the Champions Cup and EURO Vase in your saved game, and they should be renamed to Champions League and Europa League respectively. If you are in the middle of a save-game, Japanese national teams will be populated in the next instance that players are called up, and not instantly. Do keep in mind that this file does not add Japan-based players are not in the official database and these will need a third-party add-on to be created and added.
Club names are only changed if you apply the editor data files before starting a new game. For a workaround if you've already started a new save-game, then please read the opening post of this thread.

Last year's fix for this issue only needed a dbc file to be removed. In order to change the text colours this year, I would have to go through all the clubs and manually match the kit colour to the text colour. As you can appreciate, this would take a considerable amount of time. If you, or anybody else, would like to edit the Susie Real Name Fixes - Brazilian kit colour changes.fmf file accordingly, then I'd happily add it to this download. It's something I plan to do in the near future, myself.

The dbc files provided by SI change Brazilian kits and other licensing issues. The edt files change the name of Bayern's manager and forces the game to choose certain players for the Dutch national team. The lnc files change Greek and Japanese club names.
The dbc and edt files in this download change the respective issues, while the lnc files in this download add the correct, licenced names for an enormous amount of awards, clubs, competitions and stadiums, as well as fixes some city and nation names.
Up to you which ones you want to use, naturally. But there's a reason why I include everything in the download year after year

I'm afraid I can't really help as I don't know the exact folder structure of FMT on iOS. There are a number of guidelines in the opening post as to what path should be used in different OSs - do they not help at all? I play on a PC so I'm a bit hamstrung as to knowledge on other OS's...

You can use the new files in your beta save. Just change the club names as shown in the first post. There's some other stuff which is not save-game compatible as shown in the opening post.

Thanks fffor all your hardworrk @mons ! Just one thing. Everytime you update the files do i have to start a new save or can i simply replace the folders agaiin with the new updated files version 1.0 onwards etc?? ?

I'm not using mediafire again as I had a bad experience some time back. You have 3 separate places from where you can download this file, just choose one of them
What do you mean?
It's a false positive. Try downloading it with Chrome or from any of the other alternative sites. The file is the same one in each case.
