The Palace players listed exclude all the new youngsters only added to the game in FM19. The UIDs of the missing players range from 28122945--28122956 (with all in-between numbers included). Here is a requested team-pack of the 12 missing players: https://sortitoutsi.net/graphics/request/31653.

Maybe an idea for the coders to look into, then; I think it would be a useful timesaver for (e.g.) leagues where some teams have recent 250px cuts while others haven't been updated since for a few seasons.

As some of you will be aware, the file name of SI cuts is the person's name, rather than his UID, and cuts are saved in folders by club, rather in one large folder. fmXML has the functionality to automatically rename filenames to the UID they have in the corresponding config file.
What I'm looking for is someone or someones to use fmXML on each folder individually to change its contents' filenames to UIDs. I can then check which are in the MP already and which aren't.
This task doesn't require you to be particularly technical-minded, and I can send over folders for conversion in any size of batches you deem best for your availability. Anybody interested can contact me here or via PM, so that I can explain in a bit more detail what I'm looking for

For example, if I'm playing 2010 (which is the oldest version of the game for which the pack would work) - is the latest update best for me, or will there be some players whose images were deleted when updating newer packs?

The only images I delete are those who were assigned incorrectly (e.g. Messi's face appearing on Ronaldo's profile), so using megapack 11.0 on an older version of FM should be just fine. The only thing which may look a bit strange is having more recent images (i.e Messi's 2018 face for his profile in FM10). You can work around this by downloading the megapack released closest to that game, which should see you have a more contemporary cut

With time I will download more versions to see what works the best. Will the older packs always be available to premium members? I know you can't forsee the future, but I suppose the plan would not be to delete it.
For example I would like to get the oldest pack and install it in FM 08, but not right now. Rather on time when I'll be able to pay for premium membership

But I have Zvonimir Boban's face as an image numbered 57 in my megapack folder. Does that mean that he was erased from the game database? I still don't see why searching for the image on this site wouldn't work though.
My second question is how do I get images of ex award winners in game? For example, the game doesn't have faces of Fabio Cannavaro and Ronaldinho, both of whom have won Ballon d'Or.

This is an issue with the cutout facepack search tool where a person's UID is the same as a team's UID (in this case KS Albpetrol Patos who have the team ID 57), which leads to the team's players being displayed on the site when searching for that ID, rather than the individual player. This doesn't affect the in-game display of both Boban's cutout or this team's cutouts (if any were included in the game, which isn't the case here).
As to your second question, Fabio Cannavaro's UID is 11123 and he was not in the game as staff before FM14 and Ronaldinho's UID is 3301294 and he was last in the game in FM17. So I'm not sure what you mean. In cases were past award winners are no longer in the FM database, it is not possible to have cuts for them in the game as there is no UID for them to be linked to since the person's profile has been archived by SI. Happily, if Ronaldinho ever comes back to the world of football, all SI would need to do is "re-activate" him and he'd appear back in the game and also in our megapack
If I were you, I'd worry less about these little issues and get on with enjoying your career
You can either find a player's ID in our database search tool or in-game by ticking the "show screen IDs in title bar" box in the appearance box of the interface tab in your preferences
