Blackpool have apparently approached Nigel Adkins to be their new gaffer, according to a Tweet from one of the local papers up there.

Good move if they get him.

Tranmere keeper Owain Fon Williams is being pelted with snowballs at Griffin Park. The game was stopped and Brentford manager Uwe Rosler went on to the pitch to appeal to the fans to stop.

That is superb.

No spine. First was from a penalty most people have said came from a foul outside the box, but there was no appeal, no protest, no nothing. Heads dropped, and we just let them win. Go on and lose 1-0 to a questionable penalty, I can criticise the ref, but he's got nothing to do with the capitulation and lack of pride. Grayson has to hold his hands up and say the lack of passion is his fault.

Ashley Eastham re-joins our party squad until the end of the season. Very pleased with that. Solid defender, who already knows the squad from his last loan period here. We recalled Marcus Marshall from his loan at Grimsby because Luton apparently offered to buy him (bit idiotic because his contract is up in the summer).

Also interested in a striker that was part of our promotion squad (Ajose then).

Talking of Brighton - I'm going to watch them play Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough Feb 3rd. A mate of mine's from Sheffield and is an ardent Wednesday fan (he's who I went to the reverse fixture with earlier in the season) on the condition he suffers through 3 Argyle home games. We're going out into the town in the evening too and staying the night - the last time we were up that way (I went to watch Argyle play Rotherham and luckily Wednesday were at home to Bournemouth I think) I drove up and back in the same day and it killed me.

Nicky Ajose comes home

Joins on loan from Peterboro until the end the of the season. If he can get his form back he had while being part of our team when we got promoted, then I'll be delighted. Poleon is available too I heard. Poleon & Ajose as a front pairing with Hopper supporting, that would be amazing

Good luck to him, he came and coached for nothing when there was no money to pay him so I cannot begrudge him the Bristol job. Think we may see him again next season though.

Rumors of Leicester, Forest or Wolves being about to buy Will Grigg however fail to inspire the same good grace from myself.

With the sort of service he get's here at Walsall ten isn't a bad haul, Sure he will do well in the Championship. Apparently Leicester are Favorites to sign him though, Can't see why they need another striker either mind.

Surprised at the timing, but not at the decision. I thought he'd have Saturday and a couple more games, but we really do need to bring some players in over the next week.
