Do explain?

EDIT: Watched enough to know recently that a manager can be sacked despite his side sitting one point outside the playoff places and another walk away despite his side sitting in third spot.

Well, if Brighton spent 7 or 8 million, I'd expect them to be challenging for the top 2 at the very least. Then when you consider that Sunderland had just come down from the Premier League and were already wildly underachieving. They should've been fighting for promotion even without him spending money. He basically spent £7million just to make the team start punching at it's own weight.

But at Ipswich, he spent £8million and left the club in a worse position. They still haven't recovered from it.

Bristol City have sacked their manager. Fans poll suggests this order of preference for a new manager: O'Driscoll, Warnock, Di Canio.

Skybet suggests: 4/6 Mark Bowen, 6/1 Sean O'Driscoll, 7/1 Steve Cotterill.

Please not that moron Cotterill, or Bowen who has only even managed the Welsh NT/ Been Hughes' lackey. I don't want a manager I have to google....

We've got Preston at Deepdale today, I'd happily take a point but I have a sneaky feeling we could win with them not in the best of form.

3-1 against Preston, great result for us! It was the same score at the Bescot earlier in the season.

It's Sven. Wherever there is a vacant managerial post, he is linked.

Bristol City have appointed S'OD on a one year rolling contract.

Barnsley and Blackpool wanted him but they are going for Flitcroft and Peter Houston respectively.

I don't know how the board have done it, but fair play. Sacked McInnes on Saturday, O'Driscoll in on Monday morning. Pre-meditated clearly, glad our board have a ruthless streak.

More than likely. I'd just like us to sign one exciting footballer. Just one. But it's never going to happen.

Catgirls only. All other humanoid animals fill me with disgust. Why would you want to dress up as a dog? Makes me sick. I mean, I guess foxes and wolves are alright since they have the wild aspect, but when you're talking about your normal domesticated animals.
Seagulls though? No chance. There's nothing attractive about a seagull.

This is mainly aimed at Rick but if anyones seen him play, whats Karl Darlow like?

We've recalled him from his loan at Walsall, he played on Saturday and now McLeish has said that he is his first choice for now. We've signed some Kuwaiti lad as backup to him and looks like Lee Camp is off.

He was pretty solid for us, I wish we had extended his loan for the rest of the season as we have now featured five goalkeepers this season which doesn't help with consistency.
Good shot stopper who needs to work on coming for the ball but other than that he looks a decent prospect.

Cheers duck.

Probably no worse than Lee Camp at the moment. He was class for us the last few seasons but this season his form has been poor and he looks half the player he was last season.

Transfer embargo has been lifted today. Only 18 days of the transfer window gone and many interesting players signed elsewhere (Garner i.e.) so we need a bit of luck and lots of patience to get the right players in. Not heard many rumours apart from the Danny Pugh link yet, but its important to be able to sign anyone again.

According to former Swindon and Manchester City man Kevin Horlock, Swindon manager Paolo Di Canio was at the County Ground until late last night helping to clear the pitch of snow.

He then forked out to buy pizzas for everyone who helped. Brilliant.
