Only small advice,if some images are not big enough for quality 250x cut,feel free to do it on 180x wich is also acceptable size

How do i tell the difference between an image that should be cut as a 180x180, instead of 250x250?

It really depends on the size of the face and quality of the original source image
If, after you crop the face, you have to upscale it considerably to get to 250x250, then it's probably best to have the cut at 180x180. As a random example, the face in this source and in this one is a bit too small and will probably have to be cut in 180x180. If the end product is blurry at 250x250, then it may be better to have it at 180x180
