Right, lets get this going. After some deliberation I've decided to make this a three-star tournament - I felt this would make the competition more fair, allow me to choose a more eclectic group of teams and it'll most likely favour those who are actually good at the game. I handpicked sixteen sides who appealed the most to me and I did the best to make it as equal as I can. No two teams are from the same country.

I found a random pair generator online and have matched the sixteen sides with their respective users. Please don't bitch about who you've got, as they're all a bit shit, and the draw was complete random. Also, I need everyone's gamertags to attack to this post so people in the same group can add each other.

Once I have your gamertag I'll attack them to the list above.

I'll run past a few basic rules before I reveal the groups.
  • The latest squads must be used.
  • You can only use the side you have been drawn with.
  • Six minute matches, and if the game is a draw at the end of ninety minutes that will be the final result.
  • No quitting, even if you're 5-0 down.
  • Assisted controls are preferred, but you can use manual controls if you're a mad bastard.

I'll update the groups as often as I can. The top two from each group will qualify from each group. If we're level of points, head-to-head will take priority over goal differences.

Take comfort in the fact that you can't possibly do any worse than I did when I entered the World Cup tournament.
Shame I didn't see this ealier though. I was going to hit the various in administration retailers to see if I could pick Fifa up on the cheap this weekend.

Just played some practice matches with Seattle, pleasantly surprised.

Haven't played FIFA for months and I managed 1-1, 5-0. 4-0 (HT he quit) and then lost 0-3.

Pretty good. Watch out group B.

I can make you first reserve if you want, and I'd imagine there's a pretty likely chance of someone dropping out.
