Just to change the topic of conversation onto something less boring, do people agree with me that the League Cup has become in the last few years a genuinely exciting competition to watch? I love the fact it takes place on the weekdays, because it gives me something to do in the evening, there are always plenty of goals and it seems to have been managed well enough to turn around from being "oh fuck the Worthington Cup" to actually something exciting and worth keeping an eye out for. Yes some teams still don't take it super seriously, but in a way that's kind of helped the unpredictability to the cup.

I think the fact that the big teams play their young players not only keeps the cup more open, but it means the boring games are more interesting as you're often seeing young players for the first team. Yeah, can't wait for Bradford v Swansea.

You're such a cunt. Me touching you on the arm is technically common assault. Stop being a bore.

Thank you for agreeing with me.

Actually, you can get charged even if you don't touch them.

I think seeing the likes of Bradford, Villa and Swansea get so far has captured people's imagination again. Everyone talks about cup upsets but they normally come well before the quarter-finals, so to see smaller sides compete for the trophy makes it so much more interesting.

The FA have charged him with violent conduct and said the standard punishment would be insufficient, load of bollocks imo

Typical case of the FA being led by national outrage, again.

He'll probably end up being banned for more games than Terry was banned for, priorities are spot on as always at the FA

You can't also go around with racist remarks, but that didn't warrant a "few months" ban, but yeah....

Why is Ki being used as a centre-half?

Because when Swansea have most of the possession, he can push up and be a holding midfielder, making Swansea practically unstoppable in midfield.

Hmm, I guess. Never really thought of that. Laudrup obviously thinks it's a risk worth taking given Bradford's poor quality of attacking talent.

Your old age has made you terribly miserable. We're barely a quarter of the way through.

I said before the semi finals that unless Villa get through the final will be completely one sided of very boring.

Perhaps, but if Bradford get a goal from a set-piece there's still a hope for them. It's a bit premature to write this game off already.

2-0 would kill it off though.
