My first real clear memory of a European Cup final was back in 1991 between Marseille and Red Star Belgrade. It was quite possibly the worst match of football there has ever been, but for some reason Red Star have always remained in my heart a little since then and this is my attempt to get them back to top of European Football.

The Current Club & Squad
Red Star have had some absolutely amazing players over the years, Prosinecki, Stojkovic, Pancev, Savicevic and now there is a new young star in the making. Dejan Joveljic could become a legend here but will the call from the bigger European leagues persuade him to move on before reaching his potential? (Sadly I think it will).

Don't be too impressed with the league as due to the poor quality of the opposition I fully expect to win it. Big test in our next match as we travel to the Olimpico, Rome to face Lazio in the Europa League.

Have made one free signing and have £2.4m in the bank, though will only spend if a very good prospect becomes available.
Also no more competitive football until February now due to the winter break.

As I said to me the championship is decided, even more with the partizan making a bad season. Bayern will be a tough battle .. curious to know the result. I believe!

Berbatov had his chances but to get in our side you have play really well when the opportunity comes, sadly for him he didn't and with the 4 foreigner match day rule it's been hard to include him.
Hopefully have the final games of the season posted up tonight.

I think the league gets split into two groups after 30 games but I've no idea how the points etc are worked out as we beat a few records along the way but there is no overall table to show this ffs. Plan for next season is to hopefully move on three of our foreign players and also look to the reserve team and see who I can promote to the 1st team in a bid to only spend money on players who will hugely improve our side (easier said than done of course).
