Listening to Macmanananmann on ESPN 2 I was praying for Jamie, that's how bad he was.

We were abysmal tonight btw, we have an incredible ability to let any opposition look like the best team in the world from the 60th minute onwards. Anderson was awful, Smalling was clueless, substitutions were bizarre, Carrick struggled badly when closed down again.

Madrid will put a barrel load past us if we play like that against them.

We need a defensive midfielder and another centre-half by tomorrow. Oh, and a new left-back if Gibbs is going to be out for a while. Santos is the worst player I've ever seen in an Arsenal shirt. It boggles the mind how a Brazilian international, being paid £50k p/w, can be that bad.

All I can think is that Fergie wants us to practice getting battered ahead of the Madrid games and is instructing the players to invite pressure in the second half and defend backs to the wall.

Think he was worried about getting himself sent off lunging in at the striker and he couldn't go with his hands because it was a back pass.

His little jump was annoying, but once he'd gone and not got there he was kinda fucked anyway.
