This cut is not even close to be an improvement on current one.

For me it is, because he`s in a blue kit now. And he`s freshly shaved.

Keep in mind guideline no. 4 in the improvement request page: "Just because a source image is more recent than that in the MP does not automatically mean it's an improvement. It's better to have a slightly older image in the MP if it is of better quality."

It's there precisely for sources like this, which we don't consider as improvements. When there are so many sources available and when we have relatively little cutters to work on them, we consider it much more productive for cutters to spend their time on sources which are genuine improvements rather than alternates. Otherwise, we'd have 10 cut-outs every year of Salah, Messi, Ronaldo, Pogba etc. etc.

It's also the reason why I go through every improvement image produce to decide whether it's actually an improvement or not before adding it to the megapack. In this case, and no offense to the cutter, but it clearly isn't an improvement and therefore won't be added to the megapack. The guy isn't looking at the camera, which is a big drawback in terms of source quality, and though it may be slightly more recent, the kit colour really isn't important. What if he moves to a team with a green kit in-game? What if he's called up for his country who have a yellow shirt? etc etc.

The beauty of this pack is that you can, however, add it to your own megapack files simply and easily Just replace the existing cut-out with the one cut here

The current cutout is from July for 18/19 preseason, whereas your picture is from his first loan at Arminia Bielefeld in second half of 16/17 season, so either way your picture is out-of-date.

After the 16/17 winterbreak Arminia had a team photoshoot which this picture came from for instance; not only would that be a much better source than the picture you posted (except for being out of date than the current cutout), if you just wait a few weeks Arminia will probably upload this season's winterbreak photoshoot where he'll have a recent, high-quality source with this season's kit to get a cutout from.

Okay I agree with you, the pic doesn`t has to be more recent, if the pic is not good.
You are right. I see now.
And of course the best thing about your cut-out-pics is, when the player has NO kit or shirt visible. Thats the best condition in my opinion.
When you transfer them, you always have a fitting pic for your club - its neutral, when its cut at the neck, so you have only the head and neck - no schoulders.

You are very good at recherche, you are absolutely right, its an old pic from his loan. Okay, okay.
The pic you found IS way better than mine. I`m really not a pro in grafics editing and obviously finding them either.
I hope you`re right and we will have fresh shoots of the whole team soon, then I will check those for uploading here to be cut.
