In other news, the BBC have Stoke down with 53% possession today. No idea how they got that - the possession stat on the live game said we had 79%. No way did they have more than 35%.

He's obviously our most important player this season, but even when he doesn't play great we have others to step up. Rooney's won us the six points we've got this week. Hernandez has done it at times this season too.

At no point did I claim Man Utd are a one man team - but take any teams best player out their lineup and it makes it easier for their rivals.

EG - Take Yaya Toure out of Man City and they look bang average and we look like relegation fodder without Yohan Cabaye.

West Brom players have added a touch of humour to the bizarre Peter Odemwingie fiasco, after a picture appeared on Twitter showing a QPR shirt with ‘Odemwingie 12’ emblazoned on the back, which they have reportedly hung in their dressing room.

The Baggies host Tottenham at the Hawthorns tomorrow and will be without the wantaway striker after he was omitted from the squad, but Odemwingie’s team-mates have ensured he will be with them in spirit.
