The Night Thread Mk. IX - Off Topic - FM24/25 Update

Just come off the phone with the doctor, more than likely slipped a disc in my back over the weekend. 2nd time I've done it. Just have to take plenty of painkillers, apparently they won't do anything else unless the pain hasn't gone away in 3 weeks. Is very painful and my legs are like jelly. 0/10 would not recommend.

How did you do that?

Playing football. I've had a dodgy back for a while, did the same when i was 17 and its never been the same. Was having a bit of sciatica which might have been a trapped nerve but i stupidly played on saturday and something went in the 1st half. In agony. Dosed up aswell but its still bad.

Waiting for my new phone to arrive, update on the tracking says unable to deliver. How in this day and age can a parcel company be unable to deliver? I googled the cunts and there's a litany of complaints. I did tweet them and the dude got back to me within three minutes so that is handy.

The guy I tweeted just called me to let me know he's spoken to the driver and said he's making him deliver it to me today. I didn't bother finding out what happened to it, no doubt he's just lazy.

I first tried their website to get a number, but it had some bullshit fill in the form crap. I did send an email, but that can be ignored. You're right, companies are so visibly scared by bad PR they try to make it right immediately. On some random review site the PR rep for DPD is replying to every bad review that is made. Doesn't sound like a fun job.
