Hopefully you'll lose against Southampton this weekend and we'll beat Everton at home.

Bring on a 13 point lead please.

Don't think that's mathematically possible.

I love Pepe but most people here are right, he's been poor for a while now. Time for a change

He can be fresh for when he turns out for Newcastle next season after they activate a presumably hilariously low post-relegation release clause.

Apparently he can walk for free.

They're fucked if they go down with Chris Samba though - 125k a week in the Championship!

Yeah he;s not, he's on less than £100k, they confirmed that. The QPR situation is pretty laughable. If they get relegated there are concerns Fernandes will walk, I recall reading something that said he was going if they go down. Their wages will be astronomical in the Championship and I doubt many, if any, have any structures set in place that will allow the club to easily shed them.

He told Sky Sports News that he would take full responsibility if they go down and if anyone should leave then it would be him.

Which is the most cowardly action he can take, as he takes his money with him and leaves QPR to rot.

Fernandes said recently he may step down as chairman but would still back the club financially.

Why would he agree to do that? He'll just replace himself with a yes-man.

How would one go about doing that?

Besides people should note that QPR are part owned by the richest person in Britain.

It can't be much less then can it? That was the wage fee banded about on deadline day.

People like Bosingwa, Granero, Park and Hoilett will be on between 50-70k too.

They said they could win every trophy going and he could get all his bonuses and it would still be under 100k.

I'd imagine it's about 80k.

If Fernandes steps down he will still back the club. Plus he's not the real rich guy at QPR. The Mittal's are the real money men.

I'd a tad confused about Samba's wages - Fernandes said he was earning closer to £65k p/w, which is around £33k p/w after tax, but I read an article a few days ago that suggested he was on £147k p/w after tax at Anzhi. Someone's figures must be wrong, as I can't imagine him taking a wage cut from £147k p/w to £33k p/w after tax.

Are the Mittal's still involved? I thought they'd left along with the F1 guys.

Bosingwa's on £65k p/w so it might be true. £147k p/w after taxes sounds too much for Samba, even for Anzhi.

Although Redknapp did say he took a wage cut to go to QPR so I expect he was on a lot at Anzhi.

Regardless of how much he's on it'll still be a fortune for the Championship.

It depends on Russia's income tax rate, really.

Quick, someone check FM.
