Since I've download your files, scores of matches display are not working. Do you have a solution please ?
We see the score is 4-1 but nothing appears :-(

UPDATE: Played another match and the ad boards are black now. Not sure what changed or why...

Nothing to do with my patch, this is a skin issue, maybe try reloading your skin?

Installed the patch properly, following the instructions in read me document.
Unchecked the proper boxes in the settings, set image zoom at 100%, unchecked the option that leads ads into sites.
Tried to use both club/no club.xml but still I only get static ads at the background, no dynamic ads, just a black "thing".
Any suggestions?

Having redowloaded V1.2 it appears that I forgot to include these video ads, they are in the fix below

Can you try going to this location 'steamapps\common\Football Manager 2020\data\simatchviewer_uncompressed\videos' and renaming the 'HD' folder to 'SD'

its weird as some clubs in the carabao cup have banners around the side of the pitch where the ad boards should be and some have ad boards which work and say EFL Cup instead of Carabao Cup? any ideas as to why these three things are happening?? thanks

The football manager adboards are loaded as a fall back when the game is unable to find the required graphics, this means you have missing files. The patches need to be installed in order e.g. V1.0 -> V.1 -> V.2

Yep i tried installing in the right order twice sofar and no luck is it something to do with Ligue 2? also if the issue is reinstalling does that just refer to reinstalling the ads themselves as that seems to be the problem?

It'll be an installation issue from your end, so you must not have installed the files correctly.
Can we have screenshots of what you installed and in which location?

In the OP you mention that the Ligue 2 ads are made by SI. Could it be the case that some changes were made by SI at some point to the way the ads worked for this division, which means that your files are now somehow obsolete just for that league?

No, this setting does not affect the match engine
I can maybe produce some static ads for Paris FC
Thanks Mons, that is indeed the issue, SI have moved some files around, I'll produce soem bespoke ads for Ligue 2 over the next week
