I've only been working with Photoshop for about a week.
But there are sometimes pictures where I just don't know what to do.
In this picture the sun reflects the color of the green jersey on the chin. i tried that with the repair tool, but it always looked like a mutilation.

Side Splitting Pass
Have a look at krissmed's post here on the 7th July 2018 regarding fixing excessive lighting. Instead of using 'darken' select the 'colour' option. You may also need to increase the opacity above 33%, I find about 66% works pretty well usually. Other cutters may have other/better suggestions but this works pretty well for me.

Hi mate, I have a Photoshop Action I use regularly for just this problem. Follow this link to download a selection of actions I use and load them into Photoshop. The one you're looking for is called "Green Gone". Just select the area on the chin using the lasso tool, play the action and the skin tones should look much more realistic

Don't just select the bit beneath the chin as the action will work only on that area. Choose the whole face, for example.

That action only works for greens... highlight the area, go to Adjustments>Hue/Saturation, select Cyans/Blues and have a play around with the tools to see what works

Here you go,I think it's usable.Please don't ask how I did it...it was a mix of various stuff related to selection masking.Most likely I cannot reproduce it again

For sources like this in the future, the easiest way I can think of to remove the glow would be to use a black-to-transparent gradient on a new layer, and set the layer to overlay or soft light. If the white glow is still noticeable, duplicate the gradient layer, and if the image then looks too saturated you can vertical transform (stretch/squash) that layer if necessary and reduce the opacity. Then right click the gradient layers and Create Clipping Mask so there's no black gradient in the background. Example using these techniques:

I really cannot answer your question because I am not an expert. As far as I know it's a program used for professional cutting, so I presume it should be able to handle the scenario you described. I can only suggest you to give it a try.
