That's no reason not to take the time to find the best sources. If a source is poor, then the cut will be poor, so do keep that in mind.
The community has done well over 5,000 cuts in the last 10 days or so, so if you take the time to request good sources, then I don't see why they shouldn't be cut quite quickly.
If you want to cut them yourself, that'd be great, but make sure you follow the guidelines to cutting and if you don't understand something, just ask. Nobody was born an expert cutter and everybody had to look for help at some point
