Hi!

how to convert .avi (created whit your steps) to .ivf?

All I need to know is where the default ads are, all the ads work great but watching say a lower league match, I’m still seeing Centrepoint and FM08 (I think it says). No matter what I do, they’re still there. I don’t know where the folder is and what the default names are for the default ads.
If I could manage that, this is the perfect add on. Because of that I can only score it 99%

Edit to add photo. I just want rid of them all from wherever that folder is, leaving only the ‘real’ ads.

Second edit: that match is from Conf North featuring a team that were below that level at start of game. Would that be why? That kinda makes sense: the game isn’t aware that stadium exists.

It is easiet to use XMedia Recode 64bit to convert your files - https://www.xmedia-recode.de/en/download.php i'll update the guide and possibly include a video guide soon as ive had a few requests via PM.

it sounds like you do not have an xml file selected go to 'Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2020\ads' and copy an xml file from either the clubs or no clubs folder into the ads folder

on Xmedia Recode 64bit i have only option for the saving.
the only option is .xmr

why?

Digital adboards working perfectly but the static boards are just showing fm2008 logo
Any ideas where i have gone wrong?

Just downloaded, so far so good, all the boards are working, expect when im playing at home with Dortmund the static ones aren't showing, the updates that are currently on, do I just overwrite the existing files with the updates?

I am now in the position to announce my latest W.I.P list, for some clubs I might only make static ads. I will consider request's but only for European clubs/competitions and I will not take any requests for any more English ads.

Thanks for that, but its still just showing the moving advertising boards around the ground, no sponsor boards in the stands for Dortmund for me with that update

Can somebody point out to me where the coding for adboards for friendlies is located in the fm.xml file, please?

You need to install all updates in order, V.1.0, V.1.1, V1.2 & V1.2.1 in order for the Dortmund ads to work

Here's the folder setup on a mac.

You must have gone wrong somewhere, as the Dortmund static ads work as intended, make sure you have the newest xml file and search you actually have the dormund static ads (Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2020\graphics\pictures\ads\europe\germany\clubs\borussia dortmund)

Your issue is the pictures folder that also needs to be lower case

What issue are you having with the patch?

As far as I know that looks correct but I don play with a MAC so Icant 100% confirm

What is the exact path of your \graphics\pictures\ads\ folder? As it's a Mac, the full path isn't visible.

Also, what is the size of this folder and how many files do you have in there?

the ads folder (inside pictures) weighs 353,5 MB and has 5045 items.
These ads used to work before I updated my team's 2D and 3D kits; although I doubt it, do you think that has something to do with ads not working now?

All looked fine until the last couple of paragraphs. I have a fair amount less of items in the ads folder, 4.365 to be precise. What are those extra files - did you put anything else in there?

As for the 2D and 3D kits, where exactly did you install them? If the adboard stopped working after adding them, it could be that this was not done properly. Can you try removing them and see if the adboards work then?
