Starting this thread as there are now several on this issue popping up on various forums and they will go without a reply from the person who can assist them.

Users who subscribed by paypal(and I thought this was the only payment method available) you can cancel the renewal manually yourself via your paypal account.

Anyone who paid by other means wanting to cancel their membership you need to tag the site owner/admin footygamer into your post NB you need to tag correctly as per this message

so keep posts on this issue here and do not start new threads on this or post on other threads that are nothing to do with this issue.

NB footygamer is based in Australasia so be patient he will reply and address your issue when he is free.

jesus mate have you read the OP?

you started a thread, you didnt tag footy, and there is a clue in the OP as to why he might not reply straight away

Unfortunately I was not. I don't have a PayPal account. I made the initial payment as a guest and the message that is displayed in the e-mail received from PayPal reads "Want to make a change?
To change or cancel your pre-approval, contact sortitoutsi."

Thanks for posting that paypal are sending that message, I was unaware.

I think something must have changed in regards paypal this year because we're getting far more messages about this than in previous years.

@Footygamer Please cancel my auto renewal. I would just like to have the choice to renew instead of auto renew. You can keep my subscription that was already auto-renewed for this year.

Hi, @Footygamer I would like to cancel my auto-renew subscription that will occur December 2021, I paid as a guest on PayPal and cannot cancel myself. I would like to keep the current year I paid for but I would rather manually renew if I want to, which I am unsure about at this stage. Please let me know when this has been completed. Thank you.

I got charged twice for premium this year. A new subscription started on Jan 1st on top of my existing one form Jan 7th. Paypal transaction IDs were 5VK69807KV578342K and 3D448298WR662805A
