The 2001/02 DB

The Turkish League legend Sergen Yalçın, who served in Siirt Jetpaspor during the 01/02 season and played for rent in Galatasaray, is not in the game.

Thanks for the heads up on Sergen Yalçın. He is actually created as a player in the db, but by a mistake he is set as retired in the editor. If you open the fmf file with the editor, its super easy to remove the retirement. And i will of course also take care of this issue for the next update. Thanks for the feedback.

Regarding your post on Sergen Yalcin and deleting retirement. Could you please help? I tried in the Editor but no luck, I can't see him in the game. I just deleted the first row in the Changes section of the player. What exactly should I do in the Editor?

Edit: I think I have managed it, just deleted retirement from the Player Data section. The only problem is the player's name is missing within the game. Looking for a workaround, it should be easy to solve.

Thank you very much i appreciate that a lot. When you are in editor open Segen Yalcin's profile. Select the Retirements tab on the left and then press remove all. Then he will show in game. Did you make sure to select the default FM 21 21.1.1 database ?

Is some players' CA is random?
I recognize that  Aresenal players' CA is 0. (Henry, Bergkamp, Pires .. etc)

I mean CA is setted up but the each specific ability is all 0 so  the players will be decided by the auto distribution.

Is it intended or just a miss?

That sounds weird, all player attributes have been assigned individually to all players. Please try the latest update to see if that will fix the issue

I found my game language was a problem. Loading the DB with English, it works good. But with Korean, the problem happens.

I don't know why this happens but changing the language twice isn't a big deal so don't worry about it.

That is strange, when i search for Pavel Nedved it only shows the player.

Looking to do something like this. I want to transfer all the Leeds Utd 01/02 data to FM11 to see how they’d do. Do you know the number ranges for the -1 and -2 potential ability ratings? I think -2 is 170-200 but have no idea about -1. I’ve got the ranges for -1 to -10 for FM11.

Also, I’ve noticed some attributes aren’t in CM 01/02 (composure). Could you tell me how you got around anything that wasn’t in the CM 01/02 database. Thanks.

Will this file also have a supported_staff file regen mod for the edt folder just like the 98/99 version by Warringtini? @TheMadScientist

Could this be something he could create? Do you have contact with him? Potentially just removing a couple of years as those players are in the DB (98-00) and changing the dates - but that could be me. No clue how to do it but still 😛

I'm not sure how much work goes into making it work for other versions. His name is Warringtini over at Twitter, i'm sure he can clear it up if you wanna ask?
