Real-life annual weather data from weatherspark.com and climatestotravel.com was used to optimize current weather patterns, and create new ones.
This file will do 2 things:
1. Help give the feeling of being in different countries. No longer does every region have a similar type of weather. For example, the Brazilian Amazon's Spring is now only 20% likely to be dry, instead of the original 60%(be prepared for delayed games!). It feels much more "tropical". The Spanish coast highly contrasts it, being most often very calm, dry, and mild. Originally, France used England's weather, and was 75% chance to be calm wind. Now, a match in France is 80% likely to be anywhere from breezy to extremely windy. Mexico will now either by dry or stormy. Swedish coast in the spring is no longer mostly 7-13 C, but can be anywhere from -7 to 21 C.
2. It will also, in some regions, increase whatever effect weather already has. Russian Siberia's winter is now TRULY cold, so if cold has ANY effect in the ME, it will be more apparent. Originally, winter in the Siberian region was mostly 0 to -7. It now is mostly -16 and below. On the other side, Mexican desert originally only reached 34 C at times. Now it can go above 43 C.
Can you battle the down-pour from Kyushu, Japan's typhoon season, the below -20 temps in Russia, the sweltering heat of Mexico, or the hot summers and monsoons in Senegal? Or do you prefer the mild, sunny Mediterranean side of Spain?

Should just be a .FMF file?
McG84
Tried it again and same things are showing on the notepad. Is there another website that might have this add on and I can try it from there?
VP.
I don't know why you're using notepad to open them though?
SolidLiquid
Hope that helps
Cheers

I think that's just something the site keeps doing as certainly not been any updates yet.

Cheers for that :-)

Hi mate, will this file be updated so it works with FM22? thanks
Tommy Hughes
It should be just fine if you load it into the pre-game editor (free on Steam --→ Tools) and then save it as new file and place that file into the \editor data\ folder of FM22.
fmilln7
having a total mind blank… how do i load it into the editor and get these files to work in the game? cheers
Tommy Hughes
Find the editor in your Steam library, then launch the program. Choose: FILE → "Load editor data" and choose the FM21 file you want to convert. Then save it as a new file: “Save editor data as…” And make sure you place the new file into the \editor data\ folder afterwards. Now it's usable.
I just did this to Realistic Derbies, Weather and Injuries yesterday and they seem to load fine into FM22,
fmilln7
Oh ok, so you need to resave each individual file (i.e derbies, weather and injuries) in the editor and then put them into editor data folder?
Tommy Hughes
Exactly. That makes them readable for FM22.
Leeds1919
Can’t you just cut n paste from 21 editor data to 22 editor data?
fmilln7
I tried that and it didnt work….
Ali Sheikh
can i have instructions of how to install it please? Thank you in advance.

Hi, thank you for all your hard work in putting these changes together, it really is appreciated. I am having the same problem as fmilln7 in that I am not quite understanding the process of loading and changing. Would it be possible to put together a document to show exactly how we go about changing the data editor showing screenshots if you have the time. I am not an inexperienced computer user but this resource would save some frustration. Thank you
