How was the 2nd Dortmund goal offside when Santana passed it in? When the ball is delivered into the box, 4 are offside, but how is Santana offside? Is it because the Malaga player is behind the line in the goal?

Offside isn't based on the GK it's just based on the number of players in front of you when the ball is played into you.

So because there was only one player in front of the scorer and he was in front of the passer then he was offside.

Malaga's president is apparently going to complain to UEFA asking them to investigate into the match. Blaming the defeat due to 'injustice and racism'.

For goodness sake.

How is it racism?

They're both shocking offside decisions.

Al Thani throwing the race card around is shocking.

Yeah, should have ended 2-1 really, with Reus' goal as the late winner if the linesman actually paid any attention during that match.

If Al-Thani had actually paid his staff Malaga could have been doing better.

UEFA have apparently 'punished' Stark based on the complaints.

Only just saw this and it is pathetic. UEFA have been giving Barca help for years

Rightly so. This guy is the worst ref on earth.
Trust me, I watch him almost every week on the pitch.

At least 2 offsides in last BVB goal. Harsh on Malaga

Malagas goal was WAY offside as well.
So not harsh on Malaga at all, just a deserved outcome of this tie.
It wouldve been harsh on Dortmund if Malaga won it.
Reus and Götze already wouldve made it 3-1 to Dortmund if Willy hadnt had the best game of his life (he will never be THAT good again in his career im sure).
So...
Malaga never deserved to win this tie - the better team won this time, for once.

A good day for the beautiful football

Oh, I'm not disputing that. I wanted Dortmund to go through, they're definitely the better more interesting side.

But this "A good day for beautiful football" or "football won" shit makes me sick.

I hate the way Stoke play football, but mostly because they've spent more than enough money to be able to play better football but if anything they've gotten worse and at the moment it literally is just pump the ball up to the big battering ram up front.

But their fans is the main reason, more concerned in trying to get one over on the opposition that supporting their own team. The loudest they ever are against us is when a decision goes against us or if someone falls over or something.

And lets not forget, they boo'ed Aaron Ramsey ffs.

This. Seeing them relegated this season would please me greatly.

Messi doesn't look like he's running right on the sidelines. Gotta be really desperate to bring him on surely.
