Data Update Submissions Temporarily Disabled while we wait for 22.4

Submissions to the Data Update have temporarily been disabled due to the January Update.

The current update is 22.3, another official update will be released called 22.4 in a few weeks (last year it was March 15th).

This update will include a database update with thousands of changes particularly for leagues that still have a transfer window e.(g. Russia) so there's no point updating it ourselves when SI will release their own in 3-4 weeks.

This is a good time to make code changes to the Data Update system so if anyone has any ideas for new features or small changes they'd like please suggest them here 🙂

Awesome! Maybe it's possible to introduce the future transfer system for transfers happening from feb to nov? Like most of us will use the latest database but with the data update.

Massive praise for the people who created the data update and to the people who contributed, defo made the game more playable IMO.

In terms of new features or small updates, I am not really sure you can do much more. 

Do we know when the cut off date was for the latest official update? I always find it useful to go back and look at my submissions and see if any have been missed in the official update?

Thank you all, and let's keep helping each other, I have a few suggestions, if any are possible you might want to add.

1. Add the option of additional years of contract, it is happening many transfers like this, where the player signs for example for 2 years but the club has the option for 1 more year, exists in the pre-game editor.
2. possibility of adding the number on the player's shirt, some are transferred and already announced with the number on the shirt they will use.
3. possibility to change nationality in cases of naturalization.
4. I don't know if it is possible, there is a Japanese database posted by a user here on the site, would it be possible to talk to the creator to include them in the database? 

5. Possibility to add minimum fee release clause.

I can run a script to check this out once I import the 21.3 data 

No our data update is for 21.0. it will duplicate many of the changes SI made in their official 21.3 data update. It's better to use their default version for the next 3 weeks and then we will start up again 

Lots of people ask for this.

The main issue with squad numbers is that some enthusiastic individual would probably go and submit 100,000 squad numbers for lots of players and fill up the moderation queue creating alot of work for all the mods.

I think squad numbers should probably be a seperate project for a few invested people.

@Footygamer in 22.04 update, we can change some teams in the leagues for example, Brazil?, is already another year here, Botafogo is in the first division,and in the game, he is still in the second division.

We can change all the divisions, here? of course with the right teams

Just a heads up that 22.4.0 will be released later this year due to Russia vs Ukraine and this doubles for the start of the data update. We won't be opening up for transfers again until after 22.4.0 is released hopefully this month, but possibly nearer the end of the month than usual.

Has there been any indication from SI when 22.4 will arrive?

Last year it was March 15th and they said this year it will be a little later due to the Russia stuff. 

I'm hoping it will just be an extra weeks delay and it'll be out next week.

22.4 is out now and i'm already working on importing all the data.

I'll try and get it all setup today, at the very least it will be live this weekend.
