bluemoon.
It's Chris Foy, he's probably the worst referee in the Premier League.
chokosc
But seriously, we don't play well until the goal and he still makes only one fucking substitution? Seriously Benitez? Seriously? Why even bother, just quit!
VP.
That may well be the worst idea i've ever heard.
Ninja
Why?
Obviously you wouldn't sell replica ones made of that material, and it's hardly a huge expense to have 6 or 7 shirts for players at clubs and it would instantly cut out cheating in the box if it was so easy to spot.
VP.
It would make cheating easier, i'd simply tear my own shirt and get a penalty that way
Whether a shirt is torn or not the ref still has to see the actual foul to give it. I know most seemingly just refuse to blow the whistle, but you do get the odd occasion when one is given. The only way to stop it is for ref's to be brave and actually give what they see rather than turn a blind eye to it.
Ninja
Well no, because it would obviously just confirm what he thinks he's seen.
I'm not saying the referees should suddenly start giving penalties for incidents they haven't seen but if they think there's been shirt pulling and someones got a big fuck off tear in their shirt then that makes the decision easier.

About ten minutes before Aguero made that tackle, I said something to my housemate about him seeming like a decent guy as well as a fantastic player. I hope the FA hit him with a big ban for that.
bluemoon.
That doesn't excuse it mind.

And Torres on Aguero a couple minutes later wasn't nice either.
Chris Foy was, as usual, awful today.

Quite surprised though it was someone like Aguero who finally lashed out at him.
bluemoon.
Huth, Fellaini, Wilkinson, Cabaye, Rooney off the top of my head.
He is a truly terrible referee.
Jamieandhisego
Rooney's a bigger prick, but when was the last time he dealt out a horror challenge like Luiz?

The Platypus
Luiz is a dirty cunt, but it's more little niggles and dirty tricks than it is straight up horror tackles.
Carroll.

I reckon we're gonna have an eleven of 2-footers that got away with it before long.

I thought that, why isn't it at the end of the season? If I remember rightly (which I probably don't) it hasn't been at the end of the season for a few years.
Flash.

Ahh of course, it's at Wemberly this year! I forgot that.
