That's just disgraceful.

What a joke of a referee.

It's Chris Foy, he's probably the worst referee in the Premier League.

Chris Foy once again proves what a shit referee he is!

But seriously, we don't play well until the goal and he still makes only one fucking substitution? Seriously Benitez? Seriously? Why even bother, just quit!

Townsend is a bellend.

Kompany basically rips Torres' shirt off of him, and his going on about fucking hand ball.

Also, I've just had an idea, why don't they make shirts out of really thin cheap material that rips easily, therefore making shirt pulls really obvious?

That may well be the worst idea i've ever heard.

Why?

Obviously you wouldn't sell replica ones made of that material, and it's hardly a huge expense to have 6 or 7 shirts for players at clubs and it would instantly cut out cheating in the box if it was so easy to spot.

It would make cheating easier, i'd simply tear my own shirt and get a penalty that way

Whether a shirt is torn or not the ref still has to see the actual foul to give it. I know most seemingly just refuse to blow the whistle, but you do get the odd occasion when one is given. The only way to stop it is for ref's to be brave and actually give what they see rather than turn a blind eye to it.

Well no, because it would obviously just confirm what he thinks he's seen.

I'm not saying the referees should suddenly start giving penalties for incidents they haven't seen but if they think there's been shirt pulling and someones got a big fuck off tear in their shirt then that makes the decision easier.

About ten minutes before Aguero made that tackle, I said something to my housemate about him seeming like a decent guy as well as a fantastic player. I hope the FA hit him with a big ban for that.

Despicable as that is, it's worth noting Luiz elbowed him about 30 seconds before.

That doesn't excuse it mind.

Short of Suarez and M'Bia, is there a player more deserving of a two-footed challenge on them in the league in terms of dishing out horror tackles and elbows? Maybe one of the faceless midfield engines at Stoke?

And Torres on Aguero a couple minutes later wasn't nice either.

Chris Foy was, as usual, awful today.

Not quite sure how he missed it. I thought there was something nasty when I first saw it and the replay confirmed it.

David Luiz has had that coming for quite some time now tbf.

Quite surprised though it was someone like Aguero who finally lashed out at him.

Huth, Fellaini, Wilkinson, Cabaye, Rooney off the top of my head.

Rooney's a bigger prick, but when was the last time he dealt out a horror challenge like Luiz?

Tbf to Aguero, if you're gonna lash out 2 feet up the hole is the best way to do it

Luiz is a dirty cunt, but it's more little niggles and dirty tricks than it is straight up horror tackles.

Yeah wouldn't say Luiz is a malicious player. He's got a little dirty side to him, but its not usually intended to really hurt the opponent.

I'm more amazed he tried to dive up his arsehole two-footed. But I digress - that's not a challenge to be proud of. Amazingly the FA have done what is now expected of them - absolutely nothing.

I reckon we're gonna have an eleven of 2-footers that got away with it before long.

For the FA system to work Foy would now need to be disciplined, which he won't be, of course.

Doesn't feel like it's FA Cup final day, probably because the league season hasn't finished yet.

I thought that, why isn't it at the end of the season? If I remember rightly (which I probably don't) it hasn't been at the end of the season for a few years.

Hope Wigan win too but can see City overpowering them if I'm honest. Wigan will have an eye on Tuesday as well, which is actually a bigger game for them in a lot of ways......
