If you go to the database page for a club and filter the contract expiry dates here, you can very easily find a lot of transfers/contract extensions that we might have missed so far.
Just check all players with an expiry date of 30-6-2022 (or without one at all), clicking on this button will link you directly to their transfermarkt page

@Footygamer Maybe an idea to restructure these club pages a bit, so you can actually filter on contract end dates here as well? Then it would be very easy to spot expired contracts that we have missed within in the update. Because with my method above you will also find a lot of players that are already edited.

Ah so the problem isn't that new players have the wrong date. It's because the players that really joined in 2021 are still set to 2021 so the number is doubled.
I can probably backdate all of these in a small file. Is there any easy list of countries that have this rule?

Yeah that's reasonable.

I think it is Italy that is the main one, other leagues have rules for registered match squads but iirc correctly you can buy as many as you like just maybe they can’t all be registered. Italy has a limit of 1 or 2 each season can be purchased (any others over this limit cannot be registered until they sell another non-EU).
I think that’s correct, I remember being infuriated by how complicate it all is in a Bologna save.

Can you try this file and let me know if it fixes it. Use it alongside the normal files in the update.

I find there’s often issues with national team coaching staff moves. If you look at Anthony Barry he should be at Belgium.
Just tested and at first glance it seems to be fixed. Add it to the update?

The Gabriele Gori you put in Reggina is the Gabriele Gori star of beach soccer in Italy and not the real one who plays in Fiorentina and last year was on loan to Cosenza

Actually I'm having a problem to unpack the file, tested with winrar and 7zip and it shows an error message and there's a corrupted folder.. Could you check?

Yeah, looks like the xml corrupted when packing the folder, When I extracted it created a folder called ‘__xml version=_1.0_ encoding=_UTF-8_ ___ _record__ _string id=_description_ value=__’ and I believe this one was supposed to be the ..xml file.

I just copied and pasted what was in the editor data folder into the editor data folder of my game. I ignored the weird xml file (using Mac) however the files are causing the game to crash at launch (Future Dates Update) I have the normal data update files still and the game launches fine with those. any help?

Crashes at the title screen. just before with shows the licensed leagues. sometimes a little earlier or seconds later

The tables just haven't updated yet. But all fixtures are done. Check the league table. This is the same as the custom start date has always worked.

Have you downloaded the most recent update with the fixed XML? Also try posting a screenshot of the editor data folder. As much information as possible.

You're right. I want to start with Nottingham, but as you said the cups are kinda 'messy', I'll have to create a few times until they won the fairplay, but its alright.
