hiya bit of a loss so ive got my .dds file named: podium_01_ [al].dds
in
C:\Users\XXXXX\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2021\mesh\cut_scenes\textures
will it work?

is the file path
Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2021\mesh\cut_scenes\textures
or
Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2021\textures\cut_scenes\mesh
Because this comment contradicts the original post file path? Might explain why its not working…

To those who are having difficulty installing, i updated the installation instructions in the first post.
i believe who got problem in installation are for put wrong name. the corrent file name are… podium_01_[al].dds and podium_02_[al].dds

They did work on FM22 but not working on FM23 - I think since the podiums changed a bit on purpose …

I think I may have found the correct location of the Podium graphics in FM 23:
Use the Resource Archiver to extract simatchviewer.fmf and paste it in …\Football Manager 2023\data\
Then place the custom podium files (podium_01_[al] & podium_02_[al]) here: Football Manager 2023\data\simatchviewer\art\environments\props\cut_scenes\shared_textures\
(You should probably back-up the originals before overwriting the files!)

… but the thread was locked.
Also, in my savegame I'm so far away from any possble date for a trophy lifting occation (in a match of my own or that of another club/league) that I haven't been able to test and confirm that my forementioned theory truly holds water. My apologies for that, but I sense I might be onto something.

The podiums changed on FM23 though mate so I don't think they would work, I found the path for them as per below, but they are different now.
Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2023\art\environments\props\cut_scenes\shared_textures

The podiums no longer work in FM23 the new ones are different and difficult to do i have been told unless someone as the time to try to make them

Re files, they've changed in this year's version (FM23) so the previous ones won't work anymore. New ones must be created.

Yes it's FM23 but I've amended a few with gimp and paint - lots of work
Not sure how the older ones were done as they were perfect, unfortunately I'm not good with these tools 😢

can you share the ones you have done so i can have a look at this files? I have worked on the old files for fm 21 so if i see how you have done this maybe we can start a project for FM 23

Created the first one…..man they are complicated when doing the first one…….
Great work Damien 14……I hope you take this further, not sure I will although I did enjoy making this one.
