They just didn't bother to keep it. As per about 100 other quality of life features. It's mentioned in both feedback an bug threads for the game on SI forums

It's been pushed alot on the SI forums as an issue and annoyance they removed the option. As yet nobody seems to have found a workaround - the fact you can't even hide the horrible Newgen face for the manager either makes it even worse.

You can fix, if you get your manager UID you can map a face through config files like other newgens. Must be to do with the ‘r-’ edit they made to UIDs in the update.
Yeah this seems to be missing, i've tried going back to the original skin to see if it was related but nothing. WHY can they only do updates that also break other things??
