@mons I think the previous cut is better, there is not really a change in look and the loose hair just looks weird
It's a bit of a strange haircut, true, but that's between him and his barber - it's a decent cut nonetheless imo.

I think it's just his hair being blown about by the wind (e.g. this pic from September looks less windswept) - I've uploaded another source from this season if that would be an improvement.
