Love these assumptions about Bale, Ronaldo, Fellaini etc, you'll most likely end up with just Zaha

You really think that's going to happen?

Ronaldo please.

Fergie did say they'd be a big signing, a nice gift for Moyes?

3 weeks ago Rooney wanted a new deal, 2 weeks ago he hands in a transfer request.

Rooney is a twat, he's probably doing his transfer request so he can get more money thing again.

Yep, Rooney can fuck off if its true.

Saying that, I think it may well be massively overstated media bollocks.

Why do speak about the Ronaldo to United rumours as if there's actually any substance to them? Why would he leave Madrid when he's adored there and paid like a God? Would he really want to come back with Moyes as manager? Where are United going to stump up £80m to sign him back?

Perhaps I've missed something somewhere along the line but it all seems like a pipe dream to me.

Yeah, I'm not sure that there's anything to them anymore.

They made sense with Fergie and Ronaldo's relationship, when Ronaldo was seemingly unhappy and when Real Madrid were looking like they might lose him on a free in 2 years.

Literally every single one of those circumstances has changed.

Ronaldo isn't particularly adored by the hierarchy, and he has become a one-man scapegoat for any on-the-pitch failings in Madrid. Also, he wouldn't cost £80m if Real Madrid are as interested in Javier Hernandez as they have been in previous seasons. It's a highly unlikely transfer, but it's not as impossible as you're making out. He's got a massive attachment to United as well, it's not like rumours of Messi.

I find that hard to stomach, I mean I get it, they might not like Ronaldo but he's their best player without a shadow of a doubt, and these are professionals. No way you're trying to convince me that thinking Ronaldo is a bit of a twat is enough for them to sell him in a cut price deal.

Yeah, I just don't see it. Fergie's retirement has put that deal to bed.

Indeed, there ARE reports today that Gill's gone out to meet Ronaldo's agent today but I think it's bollocks myself.

Mostly because Ronaldo's agent it also DDG's, Anderson's, Nani's and BEBE's agent (if not more), I think the media have just put two and two together and come up with 400.

This, completely.

Also Bale would cost far too much i think and probably would go abroad. Baines or Fellaini are definitely do-able, but i can imagine Everton will demand high prices. Ultimately i have no idea what we will do in the summer now, but theres no way we will do no business, so im still excited

Levy will not sell to a Prem club, he'll rather take a loss like he did with Modric

No, but completely ruling out the idea that one of the biggest clubs in the world who have just completed some of the biggest sponsorship deals in the history of the industry aren't going to buy more than one player is even more fanciful.

Mourinho has gone from 40-1 to 12-1 in the last 15 minutes and apparently there's some hold up with the talks over Moyes (why we even need to talk I don't know).

Proper footy manager story. Preston to Everton, then Everton to United.

He deserves the chance.
