Hi

Sorry I'm new to Mac.

I have downloaded; FMG Vapour Logos; SS Kits Megapack; and the cutout mega pack. (Complete Files, plus most recent updates).

I extracted the ZIP/RAR files into the newly created FM24 Graphics folder in my downloads folder, then copied the contents across to: Library > Application Support > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2024 > Graphics

However, when opening the game, the logos don't load properly - for example:

Could anyone explain (as if they were talking to a child who has never used a computer before) what I've done wrong and how to fix it?

Thanks,

Since megapacks are generally files which are quite large, they are usually compressed to rar or zip format to make it easier and quicker to download them. This means that the downloaded files will need to be extracted before the game can read them.

You should download WinRar so that you are able to extract the bottom 5 files in your screenshot. I'm assuming that they haven't been placed in the folder titled FM24 graphics.

The fact you're getting a blank space where the graphics should be instead of the default logos means you have config files pointing to empty folders.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I used The Unarchiver which I think is the same thing as WinRar?

I used that to extract the files into the FM24 Graphics folder I created as the instructions said extracting directly to the correct Graphics folder doesn't work.

EDIT: I then copied the contents of the “FM24 Graphics” folder into the correct “Graphics” folder. It's odd that it's picked up a broken United logo, and the Aston Villa logo, but not the rest.

The Unarchiver should do just fine, yeah. Can I see a screenshot of what it's in the FM24 Graphics folder?

Also, if you've downloaded update packs, you should install them in the one folder, not separate ones for each update pack, overwriting when prompted.

Sure:

I'm not sure why the date modified is so far back, all files were downloaded today.

That's the dates the respective files were created on our servers.

Delete the first 3 folders, and download the complete 2024.02 megapack (i.e. not the update packs). I suspect you'll be fine then.

You can also delete the other rar and zip files now, no need to have them around taking up hard drive space 😉

So I clicked the green link on 2024.00 (to get the complete pack) and then the blue links for 2024.01 and 2024.02. Are you saying I should download just the 2024.02 link?

Could it also be an issue that I extracted the downloads at once? Should I do one at a time (so the first one creates the file structure and the rest might follow that rather than creating their own?)

EDIT: Also - within the ‘Graphics’ folder we need to create, do I need to create ‘Logos', ‘Kits’, ‘Facepacks’ sub folders within it? I'm sure we used to need to do it but it's not mentioned in the instructions now.

Have tried individually extracting the files in order (and entering the Facepacks/Kits/Logos folders to separate) and still no luck.

Can close this thread now. Have got it working! I wasn't extracting the two update folders into the original Vapour Logos folder. Once I did that, all the graphics began to work!

Thanks for your help @mons - I just re-read your replies (much slower this time) and realised you had said to do this and I wasn't following your advice.

No worries - had already gone to bed by your third to last post! All's well that ends well 🙂

Cutout faces do not appear after loading new skins. The standard black images are then completely gone. Why? I was able to enter coats of arms without any problems

Usually if the black faces remove its a corrupted xml or duplicated entries or wrong file names. can you send a screenshot of your graphics folder and facepack folder please
