Hey Guys, will be visiting France for the next two weeks for a school trip. Will be to Toulouse and France. What's the best thing to do in Paris? What about food? Where can I get good food and on a reasonable price? Any good recommendations on restaurants or cafes? Might go for a really good meal one of the days. Bringing around 700 euros...enough for 2 weeks?Thks!

Le Frog on Avenue Kléber and Bugsy's on Rue Montalivet do pretty awesome burgers ha and Le Frog, always eat at one of those when i go over. If you want a really good restaurant that costs abit more then Yam'Tcha is really good, but you usually have to wait a while for a table. Id avoid the latin quarter like the plague when it comes to restaurants, they'res bloody loads there and they have people on the street trying to get you to go in but generally the food isn't great.

There's a refugee camp in Calais that's known locally as The Jungle. If you're looking to get laid, I recommend going there.

Thanks for the info guys. Will be a big help I'm sure.

No plans on getting laid Fantastic...it's a university trip after all...but some of my classmates are planning to go to Amsterdam though.

Any chance someone leaving in Paris will respond to this thread?

Was he even French? For some reason I remember him as being from somewhere else, forgot where though........might have been Eastern Europe somewhere.

Oh yeah he was Polish. Nevermind.

It's not really a great place to ask. Don't buy traditional souvenirs, they're shite.
