Well... suppose it's just a year with that pathetic excuse for a badge on the shirts.

Watch us fucking win a cup, then the badge will always be remembered ffs!

Anyway, Martinez is apparently of three candidates being considered. But it looks nailed on Martinez.

It should be interesting to see how Ross Barkley progresses under Martinez. I can see him doing better with him, than he did under Moyes.

I agree. Moyes was never one for giving young players a proper chance.

Coleman?

He's 24. Only really got his chance to play when he was 22. Still.

Surely Everton will be safe from relegation by appointing Martinez.

I wonder if he'll try bring the likes of McCarthy and McManaman with him if Fellaini is sold.

McCarthy would be an excellent buy

Yeah, McCarthy appears to be a great buy. Everton seem like the perfect club for him too - a big step up from Wigan but nothing that should place too much pressure on him.

Exactly what I was thinking and should he develop further Everton would be able to make a profit.

He is. I hope he and Wigan slide into bankruptcy. Can't stand the lying cock.

Rest in Peace Dave Hickson, Legend. Had the immense honour or meeting him on more than one occasion.

Now for the good news, three signings in two days this early into the transfer window. Can't remember the last time we moved this fast. We're so used to dithering Dave farting about until the last few weeks of the Transfer window.

Not highly impressive signings but I'm happy with them. Martinez has put something into the squad that Moyes never did and that is strength in depth.

We have no reserve keeper, maybe replace him down the line at some point.

As much as I love Howard, there will be a time when he needs to step aside. Joel is a great pick up for when that happens.

Apparently we signed him for about £650k, bargain considering he's played in net for Spain at every level apart from senior.

Love this pic.
