It probably depends on which skin is used, but the bright images always stand out from the rest of the screen with a huge contrast. It's probably just a matter of personal taste.
The faces I upload look much clearer on the screen than after uploading. Sometimes it seems to me that this reduces the quality.
But your criticism is based on the fact that I want to deliberately make existing faces worse. No, it's not like that...
I'll keep my work to myself in future. Too bad, I thought it would be useful for the community.
@Monnalisa, both these images aren't the sharpest. Could you upload the source image without the background removed using the upload image button please?
The area in the face isn't large enough @Monnalisa, so any eventual cut will end up lacking sharpness. Best to wait for better sources…

I don't know what you're doing, but you're changing an existing image, and you're taking out the details of the image, and making it darker.
even though other people's work is very good
and I see a lot of other people's good work that you change to be darker and lose detail, especially in the hair.
This is just my opinion, don't take it personally.
