Oh aye, I just ran it through the editor and it's looking in fine shape. I've never actually got as high as the North Caley! I think I'll restore Loch Ness FC as an amateur Highland Div 3 side and start there.
Cheers William

Data update wise, to complement this brilliant file:
Lowland, Highland, WOS Premier, WOS1, WOS2, WOS3, WOS4, EOS Premier, EOS 1 and SOS all updated as much as I can source.
I hope the much maligned new SFA comet system is public facing, as Scotland really needs a central searchable source for players. Some clubs have great data and social media, some horrendous.
Found about 200 players that were in FM23 or earlier but are not in FM24 which is a shame.
SOS is a shift, lots of clubs with very young local players nowhere near the database and some crazy scorelines when you start looking across the data. Would be aswell joining the WOS, and any team not willing would then be as well to join an amateur league.
Will keep going, hope to finish EOS2 and EOS3 before the week is out.
Joe5p
Squads, where possible, for EOS2, EOS3 and Midland updated. Just North Caley, North Premier and North Championship to go. Will then backtrack to try to capture any deals missed since I started the bigger update on the 20th December, then try to maintain at least until the window shuts.

William thanks for creating this.
I am on the committee for Arniston Rangers and its great to play as a team I help run daily. MON THE EAST OF SCOTLAND

Hi William,
Not sure if it matters much in the sense it hasn't caused a crash, but I noticed when simming a career after various graphic updates and installing the latest data update, that Celtic B have ended up relegated via the Lowland League and still competing in 2027 in the WoS Premier. Hearts B seem to have ceased playing in the Lowland League in line with current expiry of that arrangement. Just thought to let you know, as don't know if the rule can exist that would mean neither B team could be relegated in the same way they can't be promoted? I guess that on the rare occasion this happens they are then stuck in the lower leagues forever rather than only being able to play in the Lowland?
Not sure there would be any potential longer term issue if other teams kept getting relegated into the WoS (in terms of max team allocation for those leagues).
Thanks
William nicol
Thanks for letting me know never seen anything like that in any saves had celtic and hearts b in for 3 years like real live but mite have to change it to even 1 season so this does not happen.
Joe5p
I think it is probably because I was Celtic and just simmed, so maybe the fact I wasn't doing anything but neither was the AI it led to them losing almost every game one season. It doesn't seem to have caused any issues yet though, and three seasons is better than one! I will let that SIM for a good bit and let you know if any issues crop up.
Thanks again for the file, it is amazing

hi mate do you have plans to make a full scottish pyramid database by adding the amateur winter and summer saturday and sunday leagues plus the welfare leagues i would be so much appreciated if you could thanks since fm25 not out yet here is the link to all the leagues Scottish football league system - Wikipedia
William nicol
As much as I would love too couldn't do because of work sorry , will try update this as suppose the Lowland League now going lowland west and east might be for next season.

Hi mate, which skin is this please?
Joe5p
OPZ Elite Blackout mate, it is a good skin. Not sure if on sortitoutsi but it is out there somewhere on the sites. Badges are the metallic pack from this site.
As an aside, I have been working away at the data side, had about forty clubs reply directly in past two weeks to try get squads accurate for end of season. Still a few leagues to go but some teams significantly updated. Odd, as the main database has really good coverage of some leagues (North Caley for example), and really poor of other leagues (WoS for example).
andyinasia
Great to know this. I've always got this db on the go even if I'm not managing in Scotland. I've edited the North Caley to include Inverness Thistle who are bidding to reform and enter that league next season. Any chance of adding more amateur leagues from the highlands, such as the West Highland Amateur Football Association (a summer league)?
Joe5p
Hi William,
Hopefully SI fix it, but in case they don't for any future files, noticed the CAS Elite U18 league in game has the incorrect number of teams. Game file has 9, real life has 11. Killie and QP are missing in the game and are in the second tier.
In real life, the second tier has nine rather than eleven with the 9 being those other than Killie and QP.
I think it is a legacy issue as Killie and QP went ‘elite’ at U18 about two and a half years ago, so it could be that was when SI locked the data down.
The ‘Advanced Youth’ Third tier is also incorrect, in that Edinburgh City and Bonnyrigg Rose U18 play in that league, but Stirling Albion don't anymore, and there are eight teams rather than the seven in game.

Hello could i ask when you when gonna update the new cup format in the spfl and the updated league tables thanks
William nicol
Hi I have updated both files just waiting on the youth league to update for next season and couple of other things, but struggling to get the new scottish challenge cup working that's it also all new teams are in as well ones get that working hopefully release in a about 2 weeks or under hopefully
Joe5p
Data Update for Scotland (players, will get back to managers at some point) should be up to date as of today (against all publicly available information I could find), for Lowland, WoS Premier, 1, 2, 3, 4 and EOS Premier.
Highland should be easy to source when I get to it. Other leagues less so, but going to trawl all social media for all clubs once, then again once the window closes, and update as and when things crop up.
Loads of other contributors too at League 2 and above, but for now, Scottish data update is pretty accurate for a large number of leagues and clubs.
Main issue as always is that a lot of players are not in the database, even if I know which club they have joined or left.
William nicol
Just a wee update still waiting on the west of scotland development league teams , both files are updated for this season will waiting for that league I have started testing both files now .
Joe5p
Thanks William, these files are brilliant, and make the game worth playing every year.
To complement, around 800 transfers at L5 and down have been updated via the update this month. The North Caley, and North in general has had some much needed attention. At L5 I am also adding new youth as I uncover them for Lowland and Highland, as well as adding in the odd missing prominent players at that level (new players don't always appear in the next day's update, it can take a few weeks as they are added in automated batches at intervals I think). If I had time, I would love to add players at all levels, but I won't get that far. Also adding one or two youth at L6 and below as I find them and if they appear to have good potential against stats etc.
All leagues and levels within the pyramid now covered once this summer (within the last week, so the odd new deal will have missed this run through, but I will pick them up on the next one), and will go back through them all again twice more up to when the window closes. WOS, LL, HL should have fairly comprehensive coverage of players in the game database in terms of correct clubs now. For HL, some squads are maybe inflated a little, as not all clubs provide easy to access squad overviews. I will go back over HL for outgoings, but incomings and youth are covered fairly well. North Caley had so many players that left clubs three years ago, so stripped them out. Of all the leagues, the Midlands is brutal in terms of really poor database coverage, so still lots of gaps. WoS, Caley and Highland have really good database coverage for most players playing when the last game was released.
As up to date as I can get it, and know a few others have contributed too.
If anyone is a fan of a particular L5 or below team and spots missing prominent players or new youth then PM me and I will try to sort.
William nicol
First file released ,testing the other soon ran for 5 season no problems.
andyinasia
Aaarghh, I just last night fired up a new save with this file, taking Lochbroom in the 10th tier. Guess I'll be restarting. I'm a follower of Inverness Thistle who have reformed and will be playing in the 5th tier NCL. I'm tracking on their Facebook page the players and staff they are recruiting daily.
andrewprice2021
hey william m8 you forgot to add east kilbride ym into the wos division 4
Joe5p
He didn't mate, they are 100% there, will pop a screenshot up in a few minutes, but they may not be in the fantasy file, which hasn't been updated yet as per above, only the real pyramid file was updated (second one).
Joe5p
Ignore the players, the year is 2042 in the test save I was running. Definitely in there. However, if you have any other Scottish league files loading from your editor folder, you will need to disable them.
William nicol
Second file updated ran same as other for 5 season no problems .
andrewprice2021
will the fantasy file get updated i prefer to play that more bc there more teams in the game guys
Joe5p
Yes, see above post. It has been updated too, so the first file has down to West of Scotland level 4, and the second includes amateur teams in a fantasy format
andyinasia
Will you be including the proposed revamped Lowland Leagues and lower divisions that come into effect in the 2026/27 season?
William nicol
Yes its just the Lowland League splitting into east and West next year testing it the now be a new fantasy file if its fine prob have it out soon.
andyinasia
Yes, it means there'll be loads of extra clubs in tier 5 and knock-on effects for tier 6 at least. And an extra complicated playoff system for promotion to the SPFL.
BigAuldGrump
Hello bro, what skin you using please?
