San Diego FC - MLS Expansion Team & MLS Update (Updated Transfers 27/02/25) ~500 New Players Added w/ Graphics

if you are using another transfer update file, it could be releasing the players for San Diego.

There is a transfer update file from sortioutsi included in the download but it has been modified to no release San Diego players.

Im currently loading 000_San Diego FC (MLS Start) + 002_sortitoutsi.net FM24 Data Update (San Diego Transfers) and I've also tried withouth the 002.

But Lozano is out of the game.. he only re-appears when I load the database withouth any of the SD-databases

Which other mods are you using in the game? this issue has never happened before.

great job…..and what transfer update can be used to have a full squad? For example Luca de la Torre I have it in Celta

is De la Torre not on the squad? he should be there on loan.

For some reason the transfer file has a lot of the Canadian Premier League team's missing players that look to be free agents. Have these changes been done manually or will something have caused this?

I only noticed because I've had a save there and wanted to start a new but noticed my former key players were unattached! 

I haven't touched the Canadian premier league but it could be that the transfer update is releasing them. Are you using any league databases for Canada? I was looking for a good lower league db for Canada myself.

I emailed San Diego FC to ask if they could send me a kit because they're now my American team but didn't hear anything back 😔

You have the 3D and 2D kits though right? I have them if you don’t.

At the moment I'm tweaking my file to be compatible with TMC's lower league file but it'll take a while to get the nation rules working since it's a bit complicated.

Here are the 3D ones pal.  Not near my laptop right now, but can send the 2D SS style over tomorrow morning.  Will have to be re-named, as sending from my iPhone.

No mate just using the data update off here, which when opened up by itself doesn't look to be releasing anybody. There's one or two Canadian files on the SI forums but they are the fantasy type with promotion/relegation and added teams, I prefer the more realistic set up. (Think you've since been sent a couple of different ones so hopefully one of those does the job!)

I've created a version of the Sortioutsi name fix INC file that will change the club name to San Diego FC to hopefully stop the game from reverting the name back to Chivas USA.

might be a dumb question, but how do i start my career with the team? on create a club or just choose career mode

You select start my career and then to activate mods in the game you will have to select them with the advanced options button.

You just tick the mods you want to be active in your game.

To get the mods to show up you will need to place them in your documents folder for football manager.

\Documents\sports interactive\Football Manager 2024

Once in this folder create a folder called “editor data” and place the files in the file named “editor data” of my download in that file.

If you leave the files in a folder within the editor data folder it may not show up in the game so just leave them as individual files.

Apparently, that didn't work for me. Even though I put the Inc stuff in the correct section, it still says Chivas USA. Which specific folder in the Inc folder should the file be in? Also, I know this part is unrelated, but for some reason the small logo for San Diego is blurry compared to the other MLS club logos. I even have an issue with the save starting in 2023 because that messes a few things up. For example, all of the current SDFC players will show that they joined in 2023, but they joined in 2025 in real life. Sorry that I am posting this long reply with stuff that are not exactly related to the main issue.

When I put the "Inc" file it still shows Chivas USA, 
Could it be because I'm not putting it in the right folder? 
since I'm putting it in the folder “all” inside "Inc".

Something about the transfers San Diego FC have made this transfer window makes me think they played my mod.
