these changes will be permanent and the wonderkids will generate in every save unless you delete the text or put back in the original file
if you cant get it to work make a copy of an original edt file and paste all text in there

New squad every season for 30 seasons
All players generate in the youth academy as 16 year olds

How to quickly mass edit stuff using the Replace Tool to Replace all instances,
use the replace tool on notepad or notepad++
1.how to change a team ,for example you want Man Utd "680" instead of Sunderland "722"
Find "722" and replace it with "680"
2.how to change the nationality of the players, for example you want Mexico "379" instead of Spain "796"
Find "796" and replace it with "379"
3.To randomize the positions just simply delete that part or replace it with nothing
Find GOALKEEPER and replace it with nothing so you're left with "" instead of "GOALKEEPER"
the same goes for the rest of the positions
4.To increase some or all players max to potential
Find -10 and replace it with 200
Find -9 and replace it with 200
Find -8 and replace it with 200
these 3 changes this will cover all players
5.To remove a team copy all the lines for that team and paste it into a blank EDT file,make a copy of my file or the original one in the game and then delete all text and use it as a blank is probably the easiest way

Can I change the teams to a different country for example if I wanted to change Sunderland to a team in Brazil could I change the Sunderland ID or does the notepad change only work for the same country

In response to changing a team and nation using the ID will it also work with a lower league English team if I did a tier 10 database and changed the ID NUMBER in England to a team in level 8 and lower would this still produce the wonderkids for me??

No worries but all of this only works with new saves because it's when you start a new save it looks for it but never after that point

Is there a way to change their current ability?A lot of them start 1 or 2 ability below their potential which makes it hard(which is good) but it would be good to see some develop a lot

Yes it can be done easily,replace all “170” “150” and “130” with lower numbers, so If you want all the players that start at 130 ability to start at 100 instead then replace all “130” with “100” and so on.

Yes mate,
You can add as many as you like,
Just copy the full line of a player already on the list, paste it into the same config file and just rename the names to whatever you want.
To change the potential I believe the last number in between the “ ” on the line is the max potential, change this to whatever you like it to be and it should be all 👍

You're talking about the “-8” etc right? So that would mean changing the player's dynamic max potential to the hard cap i want it to be

So I tried to add some regens myself but when i wanted to put that file in the permanent files it showed uo as a text document instead of an edt file.Will this still work?

Yeah i only noticed it after a while the problem was the date and ids for club and nation i used lmao,was so tired that i kept overlooking it.
