Yes, we have processed today’s update, now. In general, there is an update processed every day - it isn’t always the same time of day as there is some manual involvement required by the staff team.

There are many players duplicated in the database, Cardoso Varela, Rafael Quintas are some examples of it.

Thanks for pointing these two out. I have now removed one version of each. Following the next update release, these two should no longer be duplicated!

Whilst we do our best (in particular, whilst moderating submissions) to avoid duplicates, unfortunately some do sneak through sometimes. Reports of which ones they are help us to get rid of them - so if there are others that you notice, please do report them.

Thank you. I have now removed the duplicate Bernardo Lima and also the community-created versions of Ollie Harrison and Tiago Silva (as they were already in the default database).

Appreciate you pointing these out - it is quite tricky to catch them all in real-time and quite a lot of work to scan for duplicates across all of the newly-created players (especially when the player in question has been created as a new player but already existed in the original DB).

Hi i got question about, do you planning to update UEFA Coefficient Ranking? Like its in the 2025/26 season? 

I have bought the FM24 Data Update because I saw it has Romanian Liga III. Does anyone know why I cannot select Romanian Liga III? 

I correctly selected “Liga III and above” for the Romanian leagues in the save file when you start a new game, it shows up in the menu where I select my team but it is grayed out. 

I also tried to select the leagues in the Custom database menu when you select the leagues you want to play and they all show up there as well, even lower leagues. 

I've selected all series of Liga III and I still was not able to select any team from Liga III, it was still grayed out. Can someone help please?

Couple of things, not sure if it belongs to a more specific page…

Sheff Utd were taken over by new owners earlier this year. However, the current data set has them with no room in the wage budget and only 500k in transfer funds - this doesn't seem right.

Sheff Wed have had a 3 window penalty applied by the EFL for fees, yet have both a transfer fund and 20k p/w in wages available. 

I'm pretty confident this is something that stems from the FM 24 base-game - I cannot be sure of the reasons, but I'm confident that the league is partially-playable because it has been set up that way by Sports Interactive. I think the situation with this division is nuanced - however SI have set it up means that whilst it appears to be a playable league (e.g. when selecting the playable levels), in reality it isn't.

Just to be clear: you're not doing anything wrong, nor do I think this is caused by the Data Update.

I haven't had a chance to look into what is involved in making it fully-playable as part of the Data Update. It is on my to-do list.

Is ajax new logo planned to be added to the game?

Is it possible to edit a players ability in/preferred position/role. E.g. if a player has been played predominantly on the RW all season, but the in-game data still has him as a CM.

I appreciate your answer and that you are looking into it.

However, no offense, I find it misleading that on this website it shows it as playable and requests that you pay money to access the update, only to find out it is not actually playable.

I'm not really in a position to provide a meaningful ETA, to be honest - and I don't want to mislead you in terms of expectations.

I can understand your point around what it says there. The data on that page is generic and is based on information that comes from the FM database (as far as I am aware). It isn't intended to indicate a custom position based on the Data Update available on this site.

Whilst I am a staff member, I do not have any control over the payment-related processes, so there is nothing I can directly/personally do to assist. However, if you have purchased the enhanced Data Update on the understanding that you would be able to manage in this specific division, believing that the Data Update provided that capability, I'd recommend you make a post in https://sortitoutsi.net/content/57415/all-issues-with-premium-membership-post-here, following the general guidelines on the opening post. I am sure the Site Admin will take care of a refund for you in this case.

All the same, I do still intend to look at what can be done to override the situation in the Romanian Liga III. In addition, I'll raise the point internally about amending the summaries related to the Romanian Liga III so it does not indicate it as playable.

Thanks for the quick reply. A refund won't be necessary as the update is still great quality and a good addition to my game. Although I did specifically buy it to play this team I can get over the fact that it is unplayable currently. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

You're right that text shouldn't be in there.

Obviously with the new game not being released and having to try and cover two years some aspects of the website aren't really setup for that 2nd year, so that text is automated based off the original FM24.

I've removed it now.

Just a quick update, as a few people have asked: the Data Update now contains a file that reflects transfer bans/embargoes. The 41 transfer embargoes that were in place in the original database (all of which have expired) have been removed from the game and have been replaced with ~100 transfer embargoes that are in effect at the moment on European clubs. This includes (for example) Sheffield Wednesday. They are all offset by two years, so the first in-game transfer window (Summer 2023) is the equivalent of the Summer 2025 transfer window.

Other continents will be covered in the coming days and integrated into the Data Update.

Update - France now updated to 2025/26. This should be available after the Data Update has gone through its next re-processing. The new file:

• Extends France to be fully-playable down to the fourth tier (Championnat National 2).
• Updates the pyramid structure, promotions/relegations, competition histories and club histories of all divisions to reflect 2025/26.
   
• Note: Olympique Lyonnais are in Ligue 2, pending the outcome of their appeal.
• Note: C'Chartres Football were promoted to CN2 as the best second-placed CN3 club, to ensure three groups of 16 in CN2 (pending FFF finalising the constitution - last year it was finalised around mid-July).
• Note: Championnat National does not convert to a fully-professional Ligue 3 from 2026/27 due to uncertainty around gameplay implications.

The specific update I've mentioned is all about updating the France divisional structure to reflect the 2025/26 season. Player transfers/contracts are handled separately.

I can see that Paul Pogba (a) appears on the site's database and (b) the transfer to Monaco has been submitted/approved in time to be in the current version. However, I have just downloaded it and I cannot see that his record appears, as I think he was removed from the FM 24 database by SI. I will have a proper look into it tomorrow when I have some time.

I bought the 5 pound package. Can I know what changes between the dynamic data files 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10 and the dynamic new player files 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10? Thanks

The abilities and transfer budgets of every team and player vary slightly e.g one player will be 165 PA in one save, 175 in another and 155 in another.

The histories where done upto 24/25 season, histories for 25/26 will be added this month sometime.

Estevao doesnt have his transer to Chelsea arranged in your latest updates. Nor has his CA be altered.

Its a future update for 2025
