How to contribute to the sortitoutsi Data Update[Read the opening post for full details]

I added all 3 of these players in my San Diego update.

I could potentially make a version where it's just the missing players without the other changes.

Just to confirm: it is now possible (and has been for some time) to create completely new players to be part of the SortItOutSI Data Update.

The best jump-off point to do this is from https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update/attributes - which will guide you to search for the club and then, from the club's page, use the ‘Add New Youth Player’ button. This will take you to a form allowing you to enter all the necessary details. Once submitted, this will then be moderated and - if approved - gets automatically integrated into the Data Update thereafter.

Please add to polish second league Polonia Bytom, Wieczysta Krakow and Pogon Grodzisk Mazowiecki and remove Kotwica, Stal Stalowa Wola and Warta Poznan.

Hi. Why was Śląsk Wrocław, Puszcza Niepołomice, Stal Mielec relegated from Ekstraklasa to the  second league in Poland, while Polonia Bytom, Pogoń Grodzisk, and Wieczysta Kraków were not promoted from third league? The team rosters are current, but the second league lineup doesn't match, creating an alternate reality.

Chelmsford City have gone full-time this season. Can't see any way to submit that to get it included via the contribution page though, so just posting here on the off-chance that someone picks it up 🙂

which data contains transfers made in the Turkish league? When i open the Turkish league file, I see the old squads.

All transfers are part of the ‘Changes.fmf’ file. It will either be called ‘sortitoutsi.net FM24 Data Update - Changes.fmf’ (free version) or ‘Classic FM - Changes.fmf’ (enhanced version).

The files that have individual nation names (e.g. 'sortitoutsi.net FM24 Data Update - Turkiye (League)') contain the division structures for that nation (i.e. promotions/relegations and, where relevant, new league structure rules).

To play with the SortItOutSI Data Update, it is recommmended to enable all of the files that are part of the main folder in the download as this gives you the full content. If you are using the enhanced/paid version, you should only enable one instance of the ‘dynamic data’ files - there are ten choices.

I don't know if this is where I should post this message, but in the FM26 database it says that Mylan Toty from Saint-Étienne has been added, but after updating, I don't have it.

Hi guys, I've encountered a problem with new fm24 updates. Basically, when I upload them, some team presidents are removed. Examples: Lotito, De Laurentis, etc., etc., and regens are added in their place.

Hi, i used to know the sortitoutsi data update for free but this year we have to pay to get it for 1 year, so i paid 11.5 euros to get it but when i download the data update fm26 there are only contracts files and 3 others but noone file concerning transfers data update. So why we paid if we don't have the service in return?

So we have to check others data update like notorious pro who still free but monthly. 

The content of the Data Update does, in fact, include all of the transfers. However, some time ago, across both the FM24 and FM26 Data Updates, the structure/file names changed.

In both updates, the file named ‘Contracts’ includes all of the transfers (which, if you think about it, are contractual changes - hence the name), as well as contract extensions and newly-created players.

Previously, the equivalent file was called ‘Changes’. It is now called ‘Contracts’. The logical content of the files are the same.

In terms of what the paid/enhanced update provides - in terms of frequency, it provides a new version every 20 minutes (free members can access a new version once-per-day). It also provides an integrated level of dynamic, updated abilities for players, through a combination of community contributions and a small level of randomisation that ensures every save has some variance.

I first played with the 4 sortitoutsi data update files + megapck leagues and i had some errors in Italy like Inter without coach, Baroni still Lazio coach, Fonseca still AC Milan coach, Ranieri still AS Roma coach or in Portugal like AVB were an assistant coach and not Porto president. I deduce that timo's italy and portugal packs may be the problem. Then i only used falsobohemio pack, natural base for italy and portugal  + sortitoutsi data update but in january Thiago Silva was still not signed to Porto for example. Then i used Pro notorious 1st january transfers pack + falso bohemio leagues pack only and transfers were ok and no few errors in coaches. Then i add FM26 data tweaks files + FMUpdate January from FMInside but still some errors. Then i tried only Timo's leagues nothing changes.

Ok, thank you for the answer. Can we play a game with the 4 sortitoutsi data update files + falsobohemio's leagues megapack + some other timo's leagues megapck combined? Some falsobohemia leagues are not real format. Or should we not combine falsobohemio and timo's leagues meagapck? 

Which ones are compatible with sortitoutsi data update files for FM26? I like to play with all leagues real formats possible in the world, so yes. 

So i'm gonna try again sortitoutsi data update + only falsobohemio real leagues pack, not fake formats and see if all will work this time.

Unfortunately, that's not a capability that exists (at least for now). It's somewhat complex, especially when we are talking about clubs that would become of playable divisions, or any division that - in the game - has a ruleset associated with it.

Much of the complexity comes from the fact that creating the entry is just part of the story. Integrating them into the right division and the re-shuffle required of all other teams is where things become complicated. Missing clubs are typically created as part of the individual nation files that are included in the update - this is the best way we are able to do this, because in that same file we can also control any moving around of other teams in the relevant nation's divisions.

The overall ability to create new, missing clubs is something that's on the potential enhancements list - but there is no timeline associated with bringing that to life, to be honest.

Hello Mr. MC, in the FM 24 advanced database update, was the FM 26 database CA/PA transferred to all players in the game? If so, I am considering purchasing the update. Thank you.
