There was a shitstorm on Twitter between the gay/transgender community and one of the creators of Penny Arcade, after he'd said "If you have a vagina, you're probably a woman."

I know they've faced a lot of discrimination and they don't have it easy, but they're really picking the wrong battles.

i bet you think I'm going to sit here and type a big long thing defending transgender people but I'm not. I know a few people who are trans and they're all lovely people, one of them is one of my best friends. There are times when she's told me about some of her problems and how hard stuff has been and I wish she could just be given a vagina but that's not how it works obviously. She doesn't use it as a way of getting attention, she hates it when people find out, she just feels like she was in born into the wrong body.

I'm sure 90% of people go into it with a good attitude but fucking tumblr. It really does that the piss. Maybe it's everyone elses fault. Maybe they've been discriminated so much that they feel like they need to complain about every little non issue so they feel like they're winning something. But. Maybe if they didn't issue out death threats to cis people just because they weren't trans. Maybe if they completely ignore arguements for the same reason. Maybe if they didn't shit on everyone when they try to be nice to them or if they're trying to learn more about the issue. It's a club for some people and that's stupid.

But whatever, I'm a just a pig anyway. #diecisscum
