The FM26 BETA is dropping in around 24-30 hours depending on when you're reading this, all we know for sure it's going to be Thursday Evening UK time.
We've confirmed that Player Faces, Logos and 2D Kits will work with the new game and have prepared Megapacks for download. Unfortunately 3D Kits, Skins and Backgrounds will not work at this time but we will try and get these working asap.
We really recommend downloading early since the site can often experience performance problems on release day. Miles Jacobson has claimed that twice as many people have pre-ordered FM26 than did FM24 so things could be crazy.
New Direct Free Downloads
You may remember in the past that if you weren't a paid subscriber you would have to use free file sharing sites filled with adverts and wait times. Well a few weeks ago we setup brand new servers for users to download for free.
These will be considerably slower than the super fast premium downloads we offer to those who donate, but we hope the experience will be considerably better than the old file sharing sites.
It's possible that due the high demand these free servers will get overloaded in which case you will automatically fall back on the old system, if this happens please be patient.
Of course you can bypass all of this and donate just £10 a year (that's just 83p a month!) for a premium subscription which will get you super fast downloads that are always online and available. These subscriptions have kept us running for more than 20 years ad free so we really appreciate anyone who does subscribe
You can also now turn off the new free servers in your settings page if you would prefer

hi all, just started FM26 and try to install the Facepack, in preferences I cannot find the right buttons to add/ change >>reload skin when confirming changes in Preferences” etc. Am I the only one, or is this a ‘common situation’ because of the status Beta?

Right now there are no reload skin buttons so you only place the facepack in graphics subfolder, and it should work (after the restart).

Where is the “graphics” folder in Mac or where should I create it? There were a lot of changes. The database folder now, for example, is at: / Users / username / Library / Application Support / Steam / steamapps / common / Football Manager 26 / fm.app / Contents / Plugins / game_plugin.bundle / Contents / Resources / shared / data / database / db / 2600

I have put the packs in the graphics folder that I created, but I still have no extra player faces, no logos and no kits when I start a new save. I have completely shut the game down and opened it several times, but it still does not work. Why? I am on Mac btw

i haven’t purchased FM26 yet but my friend who has, has said that the ad boards (static and LED) are all in the game…

getting graphics to fully work is tricky and trial and error (suppose that is what Beta time is for)
im hoping when they sort skins they also add back the change manager profile option, my guy looks like a nonce from the sims

I’ve tried using the same process as FM24 and the adboards don’t seem to work ………
Hopefully a better brain than mine can work that one out.

For me, it's the lack of backgrounds (especially stadiums). Adboards I can live without, but stadium pics and even competition pics could give a bit more immersion.

Well, that will only come if skins are somehow allowed into the game post full release. I hope so, as I am struggling with the layout as it is. I also noticed that on-line created tactics can’t be imported into the game at this stage. Annoying.

only if they allow the skin modders to make new skins the current UI is just a joke its not enjoyable.
