Just seen on twitter a plane crashed at SFO and some women accidentally ended up getting a photo as it crashed, the tail fell off and the plane flipped but it looks like everyone survived. Fucking nuts.

Working in a village convenience store, fucking hell.

Once the other shop closes, it goes manic on days like this, with people buying their wine and cider mostly. Had to refill the alcohol about three times in four hours, and the ice creams about twice. There were people banging on the door a good fifteen minutes after closing time as we were cashing the tills up, people were desperate for some reason.

I had an amazing week at New Designers, given a lot of business cards and a lot of mine taken away. Fingers crossed a job/internship comes up soon.

Also I found out I got a 2:1, delighted!

So my granda had a stroke yesterday....

His response to the paramedic that turned up at the pub? Well, she asked "Hello, how you feeling?" "Hi darlin, I'm doing alright... Yourself?"

Mental. He had no signs of a stroke. His right leg just went completely numb. I initally thought he could be drunk, but he was totally compos mentis and had only 2 nips. Luckily we went and got an ambulance. Also, it was revealed he's had about 15 strokes before but wouldn't know it because they all occurred on the defunct part of the brain.
