If he could stay fit for more than 3/4 months at a time. If he does, he'll be a good one for you.

I have a CCFC fan in my uni class and he is really fucked off with this plan. But it does seem stupid, not least given the people who own the Ricoh offered to allow them to play rent-free next season.
Fantastic

In other news, another big Forest signing. Dorus De Vries from Wolves. Wow.
gfnx25
Bet he regrets leaving Swansea now ha!
terriersmad
He wouldn't be playing for anyone in this division if he could do that. His injury problems turn a £4m striker into a £1m one.

He's on trial here according to some people on our messageboard. Didn't play against Galati the other day but we're playing Radcliffe tomorrow, so we may be seeing him.

Really pleased, I like the way that Sean O'Driscoll and Keith Burt are going about things. Targetting good players early.
We've signed so far:
Aden Flint (CB - Swindon)
Frank Fielding (GK - Derby)
Derrick Williams (CB/LB - Aston Villa)
Jordan Wynter (DM/CM - Arsenal)
and now
Jay Emmanuel-Thomas (CM/AM/ST/Wherever - Ipswich)
Scott Wagstaff (RM)
Out:
Ricky Foster: Free to Rangers (YES!!!!)
Lewin Nyatanga: Free (YES!!!) (Yeovil a possibility)
Cole Skuse: Free to Ipswich
Tom Heaton: Free to Burnley
Jon Stead: Free to Huddersfield
Dean Gerken: Free (Ipswich a possibility)
Brian Howard: Free
Mark Wilson: Free
Matthew Bates: Free
Anderson: Ipswich P/ex.
Happy with out business so far, lots of high-earning under-performers out. Unfortunately some of the ones we'd perhaps like to shift are under contract.

Guessing it must be a relief for Walsall fans not to be the ones lumped with the basket case club.
What really baffles me is the fact that the current owners of Coventry City have set up a subsidiary group which is now the preferred bidder to buy the club. Surely if they've been in charge during a period of heavy duty fucking the club up, they shouldn't be allowed back in.
NiceLad
It would've been pointless going to Birmingham seeing as they never half filled the Ricoh and I'd imagine Northampton would've been the cheapest option.
Number 1
It's not as if they get that close to filling the Ricoh though - I think the venue was closer to being sold out when Muse and Bruce Springsteen played there this summer then it was with most, if not all, 2012-13 CCFC games.
The fact Northampton have to expand their ground to make this work is also pretty unhelpful, although I daresay there won't be that many Coventry fans making the trek anyway.

I was under the impression that Lewis Nyatanga was formerly rated quite highly and was one of your better players?
Ad.
He's signed for us on a two year deal. Quite happy with the signing, to be honest. I can see you don't rate him, but he was good during his three loan spells here.
Fola
Not a clue why these guys didn't get any game time for us last season- they obviously have quality.
Justicar
He was absolute garbage for us. He improved under SO'D. He's played in a shite team however so he might come good in a team with more confidence. Truly earned the moniker Nyatanglefoot with us though.
He's young enough and the potential is there though, we apparently wanted to keep him.

Things are starting to shape

It's because we're both sponsored by them. We will get whupped I think.

Cheating bastards. Not only is it a way round the loan regulations, it's a way around FFP. Just look at the rest of us in the division charging around having to pay transfer fees on top of wages, when Watford get seven players for a song. Utterly unfair.
