You lot seem smart enough. I'm looking for a decent laptop for under £500 except I have no idea what a decent laptop would be. All I need it for really is internet surfing and FM once it's out but after a couple of months I'll be bored with that I expect like I was with this years. Also a long battery life and for it not to overheat like the pile of shit I'm using now would be awesome. I want to be able to save lots to it like pictures and songs and shit so a big memory (if that's a thing) would be grand. I want it to look dead sexy too.

Don't go out of your way like, just any suggestions.

Agreed, My Asus was the best laptop I've ever had, unfortunately when I broke it there were no Asus's in stock as a replacement so I was sent a Acer with the same specs which has been a steaming pile of shite, it's gone through at least five new hard drives which it keeps managing to corrupt somehow.

The screen on my Acer is fucking annoying, it keeps on going from dark to bright and back again. It just about runs GTA IV... just about. I don't play GTA for graphical immersion so it's fine. It has 8GB RAM for some unknown reason.
