What you eat before your workout is crucial for fueling the workout itself and maximizing your performance throughout.
What you eat after your workout is crucial for the recovery process and ensuring that your body has all of the supplies it needs in order to recover, adapt and improve the way you want it to.
Some oatmeal about thirty minutes before your workout, then two bananas and some milk straight after.
A good website for building muscle mass is Stronglifts5x5.

However, my main problem is my diet, which is just awful and I don't really do any core work. My leg's have bulked up compared to before but my arms are still skinny, but I've no intention of joining my local gym because I'm not interested in gym work whatsoever. I'd much rather be out under the fresh air. Anyone know where I can find some sort of decent diet and limit the amount of shit food I consume everyday?
K3V0
Well what kind of diet do you have currently?
King Luis
Couldn't do the Paris to London ride but this will do, starts at 2am and ride into London with everyone on the Paris-London ride, be good to see some old friends as well.

When I'm bothered to wake up in time, my breakfast consists of a few bowls of Cheerios or Special K.
Then at small lunch (11) I've a ham sandwhich, chocolate bar (totally addicted) , an apple , and small carton squeeze apple juice.
Big lunch (1:15) consists of a cup of tea, galaxy bar for my tea, and usually a ham + cheese type-roll toasted, and 2 apple's.
When I get home, 4:30, normally tend to have tea, load of choc biscuits, and pita bread (butter + cheese)
Then dinner ranges from anything from steak, chicken, fish etc. I eat a lot of healthy's dinners tbh. No problem there
But I binge on a lot of junk. Mostly chocolate. I get absolutely terrible cravings for chocolate + I gobble my fair share of tayto's + sweets as well (good thing I never put weight on!!!)... Just need to be more strict with myself but in order to do that I really need some sort of diet to follow.

Small bowls , as I don't like my cereal getting soft I'm a very picky eater.

I can't, seriously. I tried. I really tried. I can easily cut back on the amount of sweets + tayto's I eat, but my craving for chocolate is incredible.
And Luis, you think I eat a lot? Most of my friends complain to me that I eat very little
K3V0
You probably get the cravings for chocolate and junk food because of your blood sugars.
Your diet really doesn't look that bad and it obviously isn't or you'd be a fat fuck!!
King Luis
Not bad living round here i suppose, have this just down the road either

I presume you wouldn't be able to have the whole chicken and large chips I get when I go Nandos then
ianbaker
Did that when I was in Airlie Beach. Whole chicken, large chips and large coleslaw. With a drink.
Was meant to go out that night. Fell asleep with the meat sweats at about 9pm.

I want to buy a bike and it would mainly be used for commuting from my house to work which is all just road. I wouldn't mind being able to do a bit of off-road cycling too though, or just on rocky paths or whatever, but it would mainly be used for getting from A-B. Would anyone be able to tell me what I should be looking for and even give me some recommendations on bikes? I haven't owned one in years and I really don't know any of the terminology used. MTB means mountain bike, I've got that far.
I have a budget (so far) of £270 and I can add more to that if needs be, but I'd rather spend as little as possible on as good a bike as possible, obviously. I was tempted to get one of the £100 ones from Argos but I know that would be a terrible idea.
Thanks in advance for your help.

As many push ups as possible in two minutes: 34
As many sit ups as possible in two minutes: 23
1.5 mile run/jog in as quick a time as possible: 24.44 minutes
I'm disappointed by that, the run in particular. I'm going to try doing it every day and see how much I can improve over time.
Carroll.
Two minutes sounds easy but it is bloody difficult, especially if you are a fat bastard like yours truly.

There may be some vomiting involved too.
