January 2018 - Ajax



We kick off the 2018 year with a 3-0 win over Excelsior with goals from Van Oeveren, Verhappen and Alan.

We completely destroyed RKC and it was Perk's day as he bagged a hat trick. Played him as Verhappen was suspended.

We went ahead against Zwolle thanks to de Jong finish on 2nd minute, they level on 25th minute as Luckassen rose ahead against Alan to score. Which we should have been out of sight before their goal as we had 4 CCC. Thanks to Gnabry's brace in 2nd half give us 3 points.

We went behind on 22nd minute as Alan's mistake gift them the goal. Verhappen and Gnabry goals in 2nd half gave us the win. We was really poor and lucky to come out with 3 points.

Have to be the worst, worst performance ever with Ajax . I decided to play our best XI to give us a chance of getting to semi final. We raced to 2 goals lead into half time and somehow we threw it away and they level the score in 2nd half. Van Oeveren put us ahead on 113rd minutes. Jaïro Riedewald stupid enough to get himself doubled booked on 115th minutes to put us in huge pressure in defence. They scored their 3rd goal on target on 120+1 minute to take the game into penalties shootout. I was livid with Riedewald and fined him a week wage. We went on to win the shootout, 5-4. thanks god for that.





I had a massive chance to sign Gnabry on free but he decided to resign with Arsenal Also missed out on signing on Walcott and Ramsey on free. ( Walcott went to Man utd for 18M and Ramsey to Chelsea for 19M) As Walcott wanted 145K p/w and Ramsey 120K p/w which I could only allowed to go up to 105K p/w

We now added Grampus to our feeder clubs.

February 2018 - Ajax



Another unbeaten month for us

We face FC Twente, away. We went ahead with Sneijder's strike on 25th minute. Disappointed we didn't extend our lead before half time as we hit the woodwork few times and not taking our chances. They nicked a goal after Luc Castaignos capitalized on Alan's mistake as he didn't clear their corner. Was probably a fair result in the end.

We was poor against AZ even we took 21 shots and 6 on target. We didn't take advantage as they went down to 10 man on 7th minute. We finally broken the deadlock on 69th minute as their keeper parried Gnabry's shot which Blind booted it home to give us a win.

We face Roda JC, We absolutely hammered them and was poor defending which we conceded 2 goals.

We travel to De Knip to face Feyenoord, We went 2-0 up thanks to goals from Verhappan and Gnbary. They pulled one back on 29th minute as Alan didn't clear their long balls into the ball. We went down to 10 man on 47th minutes as Milovanovic got himself booked within minutes after yellow card. Had to take off Van Overen and replaced him with Riedewald and moved him to left back and drag Verhappen to AMC. Alan put us ahead on 59th minutes with header from corner. They bagged another goal on 90+2 minute as we didn't clear their cross.

We was the far better side against Sporting CP and We went ahead with a quick fire goals from Gnabry on 34th minutes. Tavares made an mess of their long ball up the pitch which he headed it back to our keeper but didn't see Fredy Montero as lurking next to him as he prounced on his mistake and blasted it into top corner. We doubled our advantage on 88th minute with Alan's header finding the net to give us 2 goals lead going into our 2nd leg at home.

We finished the month with a 5-0 win over ADO Den Haag. I rested Verhappen, De Jong, Alan and Taraves and played Sow, Torres, Cahill and Veltman in their place. We completely destroyed them and Sneijder got MOTM as he bagged 3 assists. Was nice to see Sow on the scoresheet.





Good news for us as we're currently paying 4.4M per year. Hopefully we can expand the stadium in the future.

March 2018 - Ajax



Totally outplayed Sporting CP and deserved to go through.

We was utterly pathetic and fatigue was probably the reason why we was poor as we only had couple days before this match. We won with thanks own goal from their keeper.

Against NEC, I decided to rotate the team around as few of them was shattered. We won thanks to Blind capitalizing on their defender mistake to slam home to give us the win.

We was brilliant against PSV and we just couldn't find our way past Zoet who kept making great saves against our attackers. Verhappen broken the deadlock in 2nd half to win the game for us.


After the match, we was confirmed champions as we needed a win to confirm it.

Defending really cost us and disappointed not to win against my first club.

I had no option but play few fringe players to keep them in cotton wool for Athletic match. Pleased to see Park carrying on his goal scoring form for us.

Fucking gutted, we was in pole position to go through until Alan failed to boot the ball away and let Ruiz grab the away goal to knock us out. We was the far better side. But oh well.

We face FC Groningen in KNVB Beker semi final. Veltman got the only goal to send us through to the final against Fortuna Sittard who beat RKC on penalties in semi final.

I have decided to bring in Adam Maher from PSV for next season, I think he will be brilliant addition for us. I'm surprised why they didn't renew his contract.

April/May 2018 - Ajax



Unbeaten season

Bizarrely we played 4 away games in a row

We started April month with a 4-2 win over Heracles. Sloppy defending gifts them 2 goals.

Goals from Gnabry and Torres give us 3 points, we was below par but a win is a win.

We completely hammered Sparta with ease. Disappointed not to score more after half time,

A game of two halves, We went behind thanks to Melag finish before half time, told the team to keep believing themselves at half time and which seems to spurred them on as we was the better side in 2nd half and was unlucky not to win the game.

It was a one way match in the final and we dominated from the start with hat trick from Verhappen and goals from Alan, Sneijder and Riedewald.

Verhappen was KNVB Beker top goal scorer with 6 goals. And Furuichi got most assists with 5.

Last match of the season was home to Excelsior, We was slow coming out of the block. Gnabry took us ahead with a free kick on 10th minutes. We was heading into half time until Serero gave away a penalty which they level the score, goal from Freitas and own goal in 2nd half which completes our unbeaten season.

Next season objectives

Going to try and resign Gnabry on loan for third successive season.
Promote couple youngsters into first team
Sell players that not needed.
Win the title again
Get a decent run in Champions League.

Pretty happy but not expecting to spend a lot. I'm looking at few players to improve the team.

We will be going on tour to South Korea, to play Suwon FC, Jeonbuk, Ulsan and Busan. We will make 300K from going there.
