I'm just trying to get Carroll to understand that when someone makes a point about something it is an extremely poor counter to that point if instead of disputing the point you dispute the person.

Person A: "Hitler was a terrible person."
Person B: "So what, Person A, you once shit the bed."
Person A: "And? What does that have to do with Hitler?"

Just replace Hitler with Liverpool and shitting the bed with Leeds and you have exactly what went on here.

They're both so far from being the best U21 player in Europe at the moment.

For the simple reason that Sterling is 17 and Shelvey has really done nothing.

Regarding this its understandable but when he was called up for England he was an in form player, whats so shocking about calling up a English player who was playing well at a top level at the time.

And can you blame me when people scrutinise every tiny little detail about anything the club does, its frustrating to come on here and just see my club being bitched about all the time.

I think it's fair really, a lot of the players on there have made little impact at first team level but have shown potential. Shelvey is vastly overrated by the media in this country but to be fair to him he's come in and scored a few goals and not really looked out of place (especially in the Europa League) so he's bound to have made an impression.

Exactly, and it clearly includes players who are playing in the reserves and youth squads for teams (otherwise Jese wouldn't be in there)
