Singapore GP begins tomorrow.

Got a feeling Hamilton or Button could take it again. As long as it's not Alonso I'll be happy.

Won the last race amongst all the speculation though.

Have to feel for Hamilton there, won't help his relationship with MacLaren.

Vettel

Didn't watch it but will check out the highlights later. Thought at first when I saw Hamilton and Maldonado both retired that they'd probably had another altercation or something. Pretty sure that wasn't the case though in the end? Paul Di Resta finishing fourth is great. I'm pretty sure he'll be the replacement for Hamilton at McLaren, top young driver.

Alonso on the podium is still annoying though.

Hamilton had a gearbox failure, Maldonado wrecked his brakes I think.

Lots of close shaves throughout, and Schumi, what a race

Button/Vettel's close shave was insane, great reactions from Jensen

Big blow for Lewis but as he says his car has got the pace to really push in all the remaining places. Alonso is just podiuming left right and centre though and looks unstoppable.

Great drive by Di Resta.

Lewis Hamilton has signed for Mercedes, with Perez replacing him at McLaren. Schumacher has left Mercedes

I reckon the Singapore failure probably made his mind up, surely Schumacher will retire again? Should never have returned imo

Schumacher is definitely retiring (again). The main race for the best 2013 season currently would be at Ferrari to possibly replace Massa. From what I've read, Ferrari are considering either keeping Felipe Massa, or replacing him - the speculation being one of Paul di Resta, Nico Hulkenburg or Kamui Kobayashi. One would like to see di Resta take the seat should Ferrari drop Massa, I think he's ready for a big seat. If not, then Kamui could be an interesting choice, though I do hope that Sauber get a decent lineup for next year as well because they've done some rather special stuff in 2012.

VETTEL.

4 points the gap. Three in a row would be unbelievable.

Both Alonso and Vettel looking for their third titles, hmm, going to be a very exciting end to the season, probably go all the way. Also, interesting result for Massa - if he manages to stay on the podium for the remaining races, it could possibly save his seat at Ferrari.

I just saw it now, he seems pretty dislikeable. Saying that, I'd probably be just as much of a wanker as him, if not more so, if I was as rich/famous/successful as him.

Ferrari poised to confirm Massa will stay at Ferrari, which is a bit of a pain.

Understanding that he did have an accident and he's yet to fully bounce back, he wasn't even all that before hand. Too likely to drive the car off the black stuff and this season has simply been too slow for a second driver. There's not much he can do to help Alonso if getting through to the 3rd round of qualifying is seen as a good result. At least Webber can contest with the McClarens and Alonso in order to help out Vettel.

Would be great to see someone like Di Resta or Kobayashi given a chance in a big team like Perez is going to get at McClaren. Might even be worth keeping an eye on Kubica who has made a recovery and for me was the most talented driver in F1 before his crash.

Is Kubica going to continue F1 racing?

Theoretically, yes. I'm not sure where though given that Lotus have Raikkonen and Grosjean. I'd like to see him at Sauber with Kobayashi. They seem to be making a lot of good progress.

If I were Red Bull Racing, I'd stick him in the Torro Rosso for a year and if he still has it, you've got a class driver ready to replace Webber.

That kind of defeats the point of Toro Rosso though. They want to replace Webber with the next Vettel rather than fill his position with someone from outside their network.

At the end of the day its about having the best drivers in the best cars. I wouldn't say no to someone who almost won a world championship with a BMW that was much slower than its competitors. He's only 27 which is relatively young in F1 terms and someone like Kubica could also help with the development of a youngster in Torro Rosso like Vergne or Ricciardo.

I know. But that's the way Red Bull seem to want to handle themselves.

Yeah, but it wasn't a big one at all and he's still racing. He says he's aiming to be back in 2013. Sauber seems the ideal team to me.
