Extract the 7z file (you may need winrar or 7zip) into your skins folder (this should be Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2013/skins).
If you don't have a skins folder, just create it, and make sure the steklo_x3 and steklo_x3fmc folder inside the 7z file is placed directly inside the skins folder, and not a subfolder of it.
If you've got a previous version, go back to the default skin, then delete the old steklo_x3 folders before installing the new version

Did you remove the old steklo folder first? It's definitely fixed in v1.1.

If you mean background pics, they don't work (yet)
Have you just played FMC or a challenge? The game remembers what you did last and only shows skins for that mode on the start screen

The menubar is supposed to be invisible during the match itself, it is on the default skin. There's a play/pause button you can use instead

No it is a normal full save game. I have now deleted everything out of the skins folder, re-extracted the v1.1 zip and put it in the skins folder. it still doesnt work.....

The file tree is FM13>skins>steklo x3-1

Changed the file name, my bad...that's how it appeared in the download but i moved the top folder not what was in it. all sorted now and the skin looks great!! thanks for your help mate.

if the skins folder is not there just create it yourself.
All graphic types of files will be in documents folder.
If you want to see the Game files then they will be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2013

I usually watch the match on only commentary with just the team stats showing, often clicking around some of the other screens - just played first match and all the time was a static background of the pitch and player dots - no idea which option to select (I tried a few) to remove it so that it just had the plain background (the grey one that you can select with the skin). I have the grey background selected from the cog menu, it's just this flippin pitch background that came up during the match and it spoilt the skin a bit.
I'm going to keep investigating and I'm sure I can get rid of it...just wondered if anyone knew what to select to make it disappear.
