Nothing says recently relegated from the Premier League more than home against Man Utd then Accrington away in your next game.

Safe to say you're going through - QPR lose the first round of every single cup competition they enter.

Wigan away. At least a rather localish game but bit of a 'meh' draw tbh

Not a big team to make decent money off nor a small team to hammer and get through easily. Fucking Gillingham.

But we're Yeovil, we lose almost every single game going every single year!

So its basically a "least shit team goes through" kinda deal.

Nice win at Wigan tonight. Think they were the better for most of the game but we didn't switch off after the goal and came back really well. Peter Clarke gave away our pen (he wouldn't need to if our midfield had stopped the Wigan player earlier on) but yet was my MOTM as his distribution, his bottle and experience is improving us on so many levels and will be vital for us this season. Seriously developing a man crush on Leon Clarke too! All in all very pleased with how things are falling into place

Derby on the back foot against Portsmouth, another shock on the cards?

Think Portsmouth played well. Paul Cook defo got a decent side together and some cracking young lads like the one who came on as a sub who scored the winner or number 38 who impressed me at left back. Derby played poor to be honest but full marks to Pompey where I found McGurk and Bennett impressive aswell.

Well, we were shite. Deserved to go out to an organised and enthusiastic Notts County side. Their winner was a worldie.

We were also shite. If you're 2-1 down in a cup tie and you've got one sub left, who do you bring on - Jordan Rhodes or Danny Guthrie? Exactly. Rhodes. Someone tell our manager over-promoted coach.

Fourth year in a row we've gone out in the first round to a League One team.

The draw is a fucking joke, the "unseeded" teams were already pre drawn, so knew if they were going to be home or away before the first ball was drawn out of the televised draw.. Seeding was based on the last seasons league positions of the teams that played in round two last year, what ab absolute load of shite.

Teams who lost in the 2nd round last season being seeded and the League Cup Semi Finalists (Sheffield United) unseeded. Ridicolous.

Yeah was also mildly "surprised" how they could fuck it up that much. Quite an achievement really.

Anyway, since we're still in it, it's Leicester at home for us. Quite a good draw I reckon. Hopefully attracts a decent crowd and with Leicester probably not fielding a full strength squad an upset might be possible if we have a brilliant day and they have a stinker.

91st minute equaliser for Luton against Stoke.

Also i'm not sure if Rotherham are playing against Norwich or a McDonalds worker XI.

Lost 1-4 versus Leicester. Cannot complain about the performance though. Gave it a real ago especially in the second half where came back from 0-2 to make it 1-2 and had a goal ruled out for offside but in the end the better team won 4-1. Their young debutant Dodoo was fantastic and so was their midfield powerhouse N'Golo Kanté. Only downside is that I'd loved to play West Ham but didn't make it. But league has always been the priority so no hard feelings
