You appear to be correct. I'll assign the correct face to both people in 12.08.
In the meantime you can change the respective cuts yourself using the images in this page

There isn't really a right place and here's as good as any
I add all missing images to the megapack (bar some extreme examples where the cut is extremely poor). However, for improvement images I check each and every single cut to compare it with the existing megapack cut. In the overwhelming majority of cuts produced, I add it to the megapack (possibly after some fine-tuning), but in this particular case I felt that it wasn't an improvement. I checked again, and I'm still of the same opinion. It's not very sharp and the hair details aren't very good. No fault of Belajariman who is a very good cutter, but the source he got it from probably had the face already cut-out, and poorly. It's an issue with pretty much all Bundesliga packs released over the last few months, with the official Bundesliga sources being quite poorly pre-cut in general and with unnatural lighting, and so there were quite a few which I didn't add to the megapack.
That said, I've used the source included in the request you linked to, which I've cut here, and which'll go into 12.08

I'm happy that we've managed to get such a large update out just 12 days after the release of the previous pack. Seems like most of us are staying at home and cutting

Ironically, typing his name and Koeln on Google brought plenty of photos of him as he seems to be a supporter of the club, which is where I imagine the mistake was made originally...

According to this website he is member of the FC Köln advisory board,,,
"Martin Schulz is a SPD politician and Rhinelander. He is a former EU parliament president, ex-chancellor candidate - and he is a member of the advisory board of 1. FC Köln."
Martin Schulz name is like John Smith in Germany though....

It looks like the database on our site randomly gave him the age of 38 years, because he doesn't have a date of birth in the editor. However, he's listed as having been a scout with the club since 2013, which I don't think his namesake was doing at that time, since he was President of the European Parliament at the time. Doesn't leave much more time to go around watching football matches as a full-time job, I would think
Based on that, I think it's fair to assume that they're not the same person

Each update pack contains the latest version of the config file, so just install each update pack in the respective folder and you should end with a config file in each of the faces and iconfaces folders.

Interesting stat: When the previous update pack had been uploaded, the 12.0 series had included slightly less than 40,000 cut-outs in just 5 months. For the purpose of comparison, every previous entire yearly cycle apart from 11.0 included less than that. Effectively, a year's usual output of cut-outs has been produced in just 5 months

It contains 5,597 new or impoved images and takes the total amount of cutouts in the megapack to 257,544.
