Just wondered a few things.

Does anyone know of any retro databases out there?

I currently know about these ones:

The Mad Scientist 1967-68
The Mad Scientist 1995-96
The Mad Scientist 2003-04
The Mad Scientist 2006-07
1997-98 for FM 18.

Does anybody know any more?

Also, does anybody have a kitpack, logopack and facepack for fm10?

I am planning on making a retro database for the 09/10 season so it would be a great help.

I think I have kits for that season on my dongle but I wouldn't know how to transfer them into a file for you? If you have an idea let me know

I'm gonna give that 97/98 database a go...Is there any way at all to make the values of the players more in line with those of the day? Some sort of tool to make it so top players are going for £20m and not £200m?

I think if you stick it in the editor then you can change the currency for the pound from 1.000 to 2.000 that should double the value of each player.

I've changed mine from 1.000 to 0.350 to make it more in line with 1997.

Ah no worries. Setting up database seems to be taking a really long time for me - Was that the same for you too?

What year you trying to do it for mate? It does take time because you’re removing a lot of history at once.

I have been trying to play the 97/98 database on FM18 - The database is quite good, I have only made a few changes so far...The facepack has many errors though, I corrected about 150 last night. I would be willing to update the facepack on here when I am happy with it (if anyone wants it and if I am allowed to post other peoples work?)

That sounds like a great idea mate. I am sure that the corrections would be alright to do because like you said, there is quite a number of errors in there. Should be fine mate
